Wonderful place and fantastic staff the owner is a wonderful old gentleman who has a lovely vision for this place and not just his hotel but the village and beyond this place has a lovely little swimming pool I only discovered on my last night I can highly recommend this place to all kind of travelers

Had a good stay here. Just the karaoke bar on the opposite site is quite loud sometimes. But anyway nice stay with a small pool and friendly staff.

Nice and friendly. Good location near markets etc. Negatives are no breakfast and 11 am checkout. No elevator , so if you can't do stairs get ground floor.

DO NOT STAY. THEY STEAL MONEY AND SEARCH THROUGH YOUR BAGS. COMMON PROBLEM AT THIS HOTEL!!!! My wife and I stayed there for 3 nights and found out on our last night that someone had gone through our bags and stolen all our money. We lost couple hundred dollars, luckily nothing else valuable was taken (passport, cameras). What's WORSE was how they dealt with the situation. The money wasn't the issue, some of our souvenirs were ruined, but we just wanted an explanation and some help on what we could do next. Instead, the owner just shouted at us. We simply wanted them to check the CCTV and maybe an apology would've sufficed. Instead, they treated us very poorly. THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST TIME TOO. THERE WAS ANOTHE GUEST WITH THE SAME SITUATION. AVOID AVOID AVOID

The room had air con, hot shower, fridge and the bed was comfortable. There was a small pool and seating area. The property has 3 lovely cats, that were friendly and very cute. There was no curfew, so we could come and go as we pleased and the wifi worked well in the rooms. We almost walked passed the property as the front didn't look like the pictures. There was lots of construction work going on outside, that started early in the morning, which we weren't made aware of when booking. The hotel in general was quite noisy (this was made worse by loud guests, which wasn't the hotel's fault.) For the price, we expected a bit more.

A very strategic location of hotel. We arrived at vang vieng by minivan from viantiane, and directly found this hotel. Location is at the center of town, many foodstalls and restaurants along the way. The owner and staffs are very friendly, kind and so welcoming. The room we stayed in was quite spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Cons:
- Noisy location (day and night until 1 am)
- Basic rooms, no friendly athmosphere inside
The stay was ok, just a few small changes, would be worth a lot, i.E. some pictures on the large white walls in the room to make it feel a bit friendlier.response / report this review -

The name is a joke. We were looking for a bit of extra comfort after numerous stays in hostels across Asia but the standard was comparable or lower than most hostels. The whole building is very poorly maintained but the mould-covered bathroom was simply quite gross. Unlimited butter at breakfast was the highlight, sadly.

Nice clean room with a good bed and shower. The owners and staff had good English and we're very helpful. its in a good location off the main bar areas. only complaint was that the breakfast is basic (cut up roll with jam/butter, rice and coffee/tea and an egg) and Saturday night can be noisy if you are in a front room, otherwise a quiet place.
