Set a little away from the centre (20 minute walk) but if you're wanting to get away from the city, this place is perfect.

Beautiful space with several cottage-style houses and access to the river. Each cottage has a few dorm rooms. The restaurant is very tasty and clean, but not cheap. Located about 25 walk to the center, or a 7 min tuktuk ride. Still worth it for the relaxing atmosphere.

Really good. However a couple of lost points because a) the owner claims it's an eco resort however they serve plastic straws with every drink b) last night's mess is always present lying around the place, empty bottles, cigarettes etc well into the next day - takes away from the zen vibe of being in nature.

The place is just amazing. So romantic and cozy. And they are very smart they run all businesses on site: restaurant, cooking class, massage, cruising boat, and the like.

The beds are very comfortable so are the pillow and blankets. It is worth noting that here in southeast asia

Be aware though that dorms are packed, and everything is build out of bamboo making it very thin walls, moreover it is all open

So it can be noisy, especially when your bed is next to the bathroom.

Also, it is more likely that the Wi-Fi won't reach your bed

The nice rooms and restaurant/bar were very well maintained and made us feel right at home. The garden and small terraces were nice places to spend some free time or have a meal.
Additionaly massages and mud baths were offered for a decent price.

Beautiful location. Riverside is chilled and there's enough space for everyone. Karaoke from over the river bleeds in but for me just added local colour.

If time stopped, this is where it did. Sa Sa Laos is a fantastic hostel and is very well
Maintained -- getting as close to western standards as possible, in the middle of nothing.

The hostel has a kitchen, has both rooms and dorms (baths and toilets within) and is ensconced in the middle of artificially planted gardens, plants, and more. It's called getting close to nature.

The other end of the hostel literally sits on the banks of the Nam Khan river. You can play, sit, sleep, relax, and get lost into a world of nothingness you didn't know existed.

Great place with friendly staff and amazing views on the river! Food is also very good although a bit on the expensive side. Go there if you want a relaxing time :)

Very nice place! You can swim in the river, play board games, eat good food, get massagesstaff is very friendly, can also speak French. I was also offered to use the garage and tools to fix my bicycle! The only downside is we did not book, so the only remaining beds were in a dorm, which was close to the living area and a bit noisy to sleep..

This sits a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Luang Prabang. The wifi is good enough for streaming even from within the bungalow. We stayed in an 8 bunk bungalow with lockers. All beds were equipped with mosquito nets.

Food is excellent and generally good value. There is a Lao discovery meal which has 7 traditional items which can be pre-ordered for two people. This is well worth ordering in advance.

The location is quite relaxing with good seating in the main area but also with a chill out area overlooking the river.

They provide bus booking services which actually worked out cheaper than some of the tour operators in the centre.
