I would give 5 stars for its stunning views (probably the best in Vang viang) 3 stars for its cleanliness (but hey.. What do you expect in Laos?) and 2 stars for breakfast. The problem was that they served only Americans breakfast with limited choices, cheap and low quality of food. We stayed there 3 nights but for the last day we decided to go outside and had our breakfast somewhere else. Still Don't be put off from my 3 stars review. This place is worth for staying Ask to stay in Bangalo house, not in the building, so you'll get very nice river views.

Would not recommend, hotel is dirty and smell very bad. Breakfast was Ok, but really cheap, you could only have either coffee or tea but not both. And you have to pay for it if you request for a refill. Overall, not worth $50 to stay for a night. No shampoo, no soap and hit water did not work.

Rustic, but probably the best view in the whole city. Loved waking up every morning to the mountains, river, and low hanging clouds. Fun to watch the kayaks float by from the deck during sunset.

Beautiful location, reasonable prices, spacious bungalows, decent toilets, fresh bedsheets, amazing views, unique experience. Next time I visit Van Vieng
I will again sleep at River View Bungalows.

This is really a great place to stay with budget. It's located just along the River and the mountain and river views are wonderful. Get up early in the morning and you see all of these. Rooms are very nice too. Highly recommended if you come visit Vang Vieng.
