  Beware of this establishment, we stayed one night with my son and while we went to dinner, our room was searched. I had read on the net and especially on trip advisor that it was not frequentable for this kind of reasons but we believed to pass through. they are smart owners here, they only steal some of your money. Style we're not going to notice ;-)

  Probably the best place I've seen on the Thakhek loop. We stayed in room 6 which was very big and pretty well designed.
  Pros: Bed was comfortable, had shelves next to it, towels and soap provided, towel hangers and hooks in the room, mirror (not just in the shower), chair, ventilation, strong revolving fan, hot shower with ok pressure. Cost was 50k.
  Cons: very thin walls (bring ear plugs), and very vibrations-sensitive floor, meaning of some walks on the floor next to the bed, you actually feel it
  Overall was very happy with the place!

  Rooms are nice and CLEAN, mattress pretty new, strong fans, nice owner, free coffee downstairs, great views.
  
  Has Wifi works, fast enough for the basics, but second floor only laptop picks up signal.
  (iPhone does not).
  
  Previous rating says they're missing some money from their backpacks.
  Thanks for the heads up.
  I took all my backup money with me. Good practice in general in Southeast Asia in hotels where a safe is not provided.

  BEWARE: Thieves!!!
  While staying here money and clothing was stolen from us. 200,000 kip and 40USD which were kept hidden in backpacks and in separate money pouches as reserve funds. They took just enough that we wouldn't notice right away!!!
  Unfortunately, by the time we DID notice, we were already in Thakhek!
  Incredibly disappointing because they seemed really nice.

  Nice owner, much better rooms than konglor eco lodge, able to walk to the cave in the morning. Getting away was a little bit of a struggle-- lots of conflicting information and confusion. Rooms are only fan cooled, so be prepared to sweat a bit in the summer.
