Stayed in the double room, dirty and bed was rock hard. I had to use my hoody to bump up the flat pillow. Which I left by accident and changed hostel. The following day I went back to get my hoody. They claimed I hadn't left anything, and then proceeded to ignore me. As I had a bus to catch I couldn't argue.

Would recommend staying in a room (the room was very good). Bungalows in the garden aren’t that good, but I think you get what you pay for.

Restaurant serves great food! Try the open toastie, which was AWESOME

Good people running the place, we ate there and the food was decent. Accommodations are what you’d expect for the price point. would give 4 stars but we booked a mini-van to Luang Prabang and asked repeatedly if it’s a van or bus - they kept saying a modern van. Nope it was an old bus and took 8 hours to get there versus 4 for a van. Good place to stay but don’t book trips etc thru them, go to the source.

The location was reasonably close to the shops/bars and there was food and drinks available on site. We stayed in the end room (which was essentially a box with mattress on the floor), which had no wifi and our view opposite was a dumping ground of rubbish and broken furniture. The room was noisy throughout the night/morning and dirty. The owner was uninterested and unhelpful, I don't think we saw him smile once. The 'chill out' area is located right next to the toilets so isn't that chilled. The food was overpriced for what you got. We originally booked (and paid for) 5 nights here and left after 3 to find somewhere we actually enjoyed being. All in all, we would not recommend staying here, unless you like sleeping in noisy boxes.

Good food at their restaurant. Very basic rooms but they have a chill out area and so you're never really in the room. Seems to be cheapest place in town for a private room. WiFi dodgy at times, better out front.

Second time here and still really nice. Hammock area is awesome, just stay there for a couple of days and you will get unforgettable memory on vang vieng. Take bungalow for 72.000 kip, its just fan but enough. Wifi sucks in room, you need to be in hammock area.

For 30000 kip I guess this is acceptable. The dorm bungalows feel like they might fall down with a strong gust of wind. Fan only in dorms. No power outlet or light near bed, wifi didn't reach to dorms. Owner is lovely however and there is fundamentally nothing wrong with this hostel, it's just very basic, so if you're on a budget sure. Also a bit down the road from the bars and such so it is quiet.

In the morning we got bitten by bed bugs. Our mesquito net was filled with bed bugs (around 40). The bungalows are small old and muffy. The rats at night make the experience complete. I have to wash all my clothes and bagpack as soon as possible. Thanks!
