Petite ville pittoresque et perdue dans la jungle laotienne et ravitaillée par les bateau du Mékong, trés pauvre il n'en demeure pas moins que pas mal de restaurants et d’hôtels si sont implantés. Des médecins français s'y relais bénévolement pour soigner la population. Le tourisme y arrive en force

ปากแบงเป็นเมึองนึ่งที่เป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวและพักเชา ของแขกเดีนผ่านทางน้ำ ที่จุดผ่นแดนเข้าแขวงบ่อแก้ว จากบ่อแก้วล่องลงหลวงพระบาง ตอ้งได้พักค้างคึนที่เมึองปากแบง ในการรับต้อนรวมมืสองพากส่วน พากส่วนแขกบริษัทท่องเที่ยว มืข้อสดวกเป็นที่พักโรงแรมของบริษัทเอง ส่วนแขกนอก ก็ต้องพักบ้านพักเอกชน สนั้นมีบางกานบริการอาดบ่อไดมาตถาน เป็นเรึอนพักแบบทำมดา ส่วนการบริการด้านอาหารได้เพียงพอตามความต้องการ ส่วนการบริการ การขนส่งก็เพียบพ้อมทางบก ทางน้ำ.

We spent a night in Pak Beng on the Mekong River trip from Ciang Kong in Thailand. We booked a hotel from a guy as we boarded the boat. It was all on the up and up. We got what we paid for. There are several hotels in the main area that looked a bit better.
We ate dinner at the Hasan Indian/Lao restaurant. The food was good and plentiful. Had some tasty drinks that were yogurt basds. Nice folks at the restaurant. I'd love to hear the story of how the ended up in Pak Beng.

Don't go to the Indian,lao restaurant when you go left from the River to the top on the right side. Poor food, service and they want to trick you with the money.
