Friendly staff. Nice and peaceful with chickens and dogs providing entertainment nearby. Commanding views over town and the river. A good introduction to authentic local cuisine.

A bit hidden. It is easy to find when you see the big staircase with the two dragons from the main road. Walk up the first set of stairs and turn at the first left.

Very good food. Nice service and reasonable prices. Restaurant is on the way to the temple, from the dragon steps to the left. Not too big but quiet, a bit hidden but close to the main road. Try their soops. They have good wi-fi too.

It was recommended buy a lady from Paris. So, we head on over. The morning glory is the best that I have in Southeast Asia. The garlic chicken, I did not taste the garlic, but still very delicious.

Like the food so much, we order the macaronI with pork. It was a bit sweet for my boy and I, but still very good. They know how to cook their pasta.

This place is awesome. We had the fried chicken (kind of like chicken tatsuage), morning glory, and macaroni and cheese. They were all fantastic. Our server, a wonderful French lady, was incredible, very kind, with great suggestions on what to eat. After having eaten here, I'm not sure I could have gone wrong with any items. And the view of the Mekong was a like a wonderful cherry on top of a great restaurant experience.

I suspect it was more expensive than the going rate in Huay Xia but the place was clean, food was really nice and we ate with a good view of the Mekong. Be prepared to eat sitting on the ground proper Asian style.

Excellente surprise !!
Très bon plat de "rice with herb & chicken" à un prix carrément raisonnable (15 000 kip).
La propriétaire est adorable et le lieu très agréable.
Pour couronner le tout, vous pouvez peaufiner votre lao avec les quelques traductions de formules de base qui figurent sur la carte.

Very chilled and relaxing place elevated on a hill. They have hammocks and really good food.
