Clean, good location but we booked a bungalow and didn't get it! Complications with check in and the owner was not very welcoming.

Bit pricey considering the location and is outside of main centre by about 1.5 KM. Rooms were clean and tidy with fan and air con options.

35min walk from main area (bring a light if walk back at night), next to old port/tuktuk graveyard. Great view of river. Confirmed early check-in but had to wait for 2 hours (no drink offered for inconvenience). Bungalows don't have hot water. Not very clean, stains on towels/bed linen, spiderwebs, mould and showerhead broken. Has a lot of potential if the owners would invest in maintenance as it is a nice location. Good nice but lot of things not available during the 4 days we staid and waiting time was around 40 minutes. Wifi only available in the restaurant

Nice place to stay, take the new rooms across the small walkway. Very friendly owner, runs the place with his family. Very good food, nice view from the restaurant on the Mekong river.

I stayed here for my first night on the island and decided to check out the next day. The rooms were really not clean, the restaurant was dirty too (breakfast plates would still be on the tables in the afternoon). Mr Tho wasn't really friendly or welcoming.

I loved our time here but there are some flaws. They have bungalows too but they were full when we came without reservation so we arranged one of the modern big rooms.

Positives:
- They don't have river view but they have big french windows so they're really bright, beautiful rooms
- Rooms are big
- Great hot shower
- Very clean
- Fairly good bad (pillow could be better)

Negatives:
- WiFi doesn't reach most of the modern rooms
- 20 min walk from the main part of the island
- Owner is a little Maybe not rude but very quiet/shy
- My wife said food in the restaurant wasn't good

This was the first place we ate at on Don Det and were pleasantly surprised by how relaxing it was being able to sit by the Mekong and watch boats and the river slip by.. The food was also excellent.

Great value for money, nice bungalows directly at riverside. Kitchen a tad slow (Laos-style), but serving good food. Wifi is good but doesn't reach all of the rooms. Owner speaks English quite well.
