  The owner was kind. People in this town don't really speak english.
  The room and everything inside was very basic and old, but it's still okay. From the window we can see the Nam Ou river outside.
  The ambience was nice too, and local people was very nice. Close to the suspension bridge.

  Great hostel with an amazing view to the river (both from the hostel and from the rooms).
  The owners are the nicest Lao couple.

  Best host in Laos! Good food at night for 30k kip, and that's with free Lao Lao. The host knows how to take care of his guests, and does so excellently

  Nice place, the owner is very friendly, the rooms are rather cheap and as is the family dinner. However, the bedding is not always changed from one customer to another and the ensuite bathrooms in the rooms are not clean and pretty creepy. Prefer the common ones where at least you have hot shower.

  Basic small rooms with river view. Mosquito net, cold shower. Owner, who is a very nice guy, cooks delicious food every night if you want to join.

  Perfect place if you want to endure people trying to sing at the karaoke next door
  Very noisy, dirty bathroom, and not even a cheap place
  Better spend 10k kips more for a decent place

  5* to boost their rating. You probably won't find a better place in town for the price. Got a room with a river view. Not for early sleepers as there's a bar right beside and the music can get pretty loud. Nice helpful English speaking owner. Working WiFi.

  Plastic coated beds, mosquito nets with holes in them, pretty wretched bathrooms. Family dinner was vegetarian but fine.
