Best coffee in town but the food was not very satisfying, good but different from the expectations and long waiting

Finally found a place roasting & profiling high quality Laos specialty coffee. Only place I've found in Vientiane doing it & only place in Laos I've had consistently. Gives me a lot of hope for what's to come for Laotian coffee in years ahead. Keep up the great work!

Best coffee by far in Vientiane. This is a special spot and a must visit for all coffee lovers when in town. We opted for the V60 Hario pour over and it was worth the wait. The coffee here is smooth and less acidic than others we have tried in the region. The outdoor space is a great spot to chill and read a book + there is a great vegan cafe next door with some great food options.

The coffee here is second to none. Offering both Arabica and Robusta, the staff roast on site and can prepare you traditional preparations, as well as cold brew. Stands up against much of what Melbourne has to offer - a big call.

Really good coffee shop with amazing vibes, they roast their coffee in the same shop so the smell is amazing! Well prepared baristas and fair prices!
They can improve a bit in the service but the rest is amazing!
Enjoy a nice flat white or the Vietnamese slow drip coffee!

reply to Noppon Yachts : Sir, could you tell how important has been the cheating exchange ? Which day did you come ? Don't you think you could arrange it directly with the staff instead of getting upset after on Internet ? what's the interest of it ? If you tell me I can check with the cashier. Just to remind you : Trio is not an exchange office anyway , but I don't think we get use to play this game with our customers.

Hot Flat white coffee is similar to latte but amout of milk more than latte coffee. It's mellow.

Awesome (strong!!!) Vietnamese drip coffee (15,000 kip). Gave me the jitters but I am pretty sensitive to caffeine.

There's a spot next door where you can get pastries to go along with your coffee.

has great espresso and teas with good food available from the CoCo&Co next door. more like a US espresso café or amsterdam-esque coffeehouse independent café than a french café - french names on a café can be misleading because some are classic french style that serve mainly food and beer as well as espresso drinks and coffee, and others are the newer coffeehouse style that serve mainly espresso. a must stop while in Vientiane.

Inexpensive. Very good coffee and technical skills making it. My latte was perfectly brewed and mixed.

Amazing coffee, comes up on top in nearly every article I've read on the best coffee shops in Vientiane, and with good reason in my opinion.

Seems like the cold brew coffee isn't very liked by visitors, I didn't try it. But I did have my best piccolo and flat white at this place from all the places I've been to in Laos so far!

Had the cold brew (Typica) and it was delicious. Beautiful space and really friendly barista who was very talkative. The roaster working in the background created a lovely smell within the cafe.

I was here same day as Yvette. I share the same thought and had posted my comments at Coco&Co, which sourced coffee from Le Trio. The following was my comment and I hope it will be taken as constructive feedback for improvement.

"Disappointing, not well stocked on what was offerred on menu and I'm shocked with its version of cold brew that is trashed with ice instead of chilled concentrated coffee as what a cold brew should be"
