Dont stay there. Very busy, you need a lot of time till you became a room. Very old rooms and not comfortable bed. To expencive for what you get. First he tried to give me a room without a key

Huge monopoly on scooters renting, overpriced and your money don't go to locals. Cheap dorms but not worth the value. Rooms are dirty and rundown, noisy as hell. Electric balcony and keep your backpack without any mercy.

The dorm and rooms with shared bathroom are okayish. Pretty many mosquitos flying around and bathrooms could be cleaner. We ended up taking a private room with attached bathroom which was nice and had an perfect attached balcony.

Rented our scooters here which we got mixed feeling about. You have to make sure yourself that you get modern scooters and just be smart about it and you will be fine. Take pictures of the bikes and check everything really well. Lack of competition around does not make this the best place but you don't really have a choice other then mad monkey.

Nos quedamos en la habitación doble dos noches, antes y después del Loop. La cama era cómoda y la localización conveniente. Baño compartido con agua caliente, el wifi funcionaba bien. Por 70.000kip bastante contentos. Compramos el billete a vientian con ellos y bastante bien tbien.

The place was cheap but in pretty bad shape. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm and there were a few issues
- There were two fans on the wall but neither really covered any of the beds which made them almost useless.
- There was a noticeable amount of mold on the wall in the bedroom.
- There was a hole in the wall in the bedroom, as if someone had gotten in a fight and launched themselves into it.
- The place itself was run down and dirty. I had to wear flip flops at all times.

The people there seemed friendly enough and you can rent bikes from them to do the loop, but I decided to go with Mad Monkey instead. The place is though in a good location, along the river with a few restaurants, ATM's, markets, etc. The room was 40,0000 kip which is more than I've paid for most hostels in Laos (and was by far the worst). I'd find other accommodations if your budget allows you to.
