  We stayed 7 weeks in this guesthouse. A true home. Hostess who cooks internationally.
  Simple rooms with lots of privacy. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful, romantic location on the Mekong.
  Gay friendly. With Monica as hostess there is much to discuss, exchange and share. You determine the space for this yourself. A must for those who do not want to sit right in the middle of tourism, but enjoy the real Laos around the city. We come back.

  I just wanted to drop by for a coffee because i got it recommemded. But then i stayed there for 2 times 6 days all together because this place has a really nice atmosphere and Monika is a really nice host.

  What can I say ? This is the best place to stay in Luang Prabang :-D. The room are nice and clean. The owner Monica is super nice and she is an amazing cook. The view on the Mekong is stunning and amazing sun set can be seen.

  I had a four days stay at Monica's Jumbo Guesthouse. I was hypnotized by this amazing view from her terrace at the front of the Mekong river. Monica -i will call her since "my sweet aunt- is the queen of hostes. She s smart, funny, she cooks very well and she does fantastic homemade jams. My favorite is strawberry/ginger/vanilla. The room is clean. You can ask a laundry service as well and doing bicycle if you want. At the corner of the house, you have a local restaurant with some delicious noddle soup. You know what? I was so well that i did not move during my stay. If you want to chill, this place is for you.

  Very cozy place with an amazing view on the Mekong. Good food, Lao restaurant nearby. Small beach below the terrace perfect for swimming. Monica knows how to make you feel like home. A bit pricey but worth it. I stayed there three times

  Great sunset, very clean and comfortable rooms. Very beaitiful and relaxed place wehre you can calm down and still experience Luang Prabang. Heaven for animal lovers!
