Pretty good hotel near Almaty's train station. Unfortunately, some services were not good at all. For instance, I had to book if I wanted to use the swimming pool! The latter is not bad but only for a few people at the same time. Also, as I had to catch an early flight, I requested to have a breakfast lunch bag. But the latter was not ready and the restaurant seemed to be unable to prepare one! They gave me a yoghourt but they had no plastic spoon so they ended by "offering" me a real spoon! A bit like if it was the first time someone neeeded a breafast lunch bag

Great hotel for the price! I paid around $30 a night expecting crappy conditions but it was a nice simple room with nice bathroom which is the most important thing for me when staying at a hotel. The complimentary breakfast was superb. I fully recommend it!

There were cockroaches on the floor and it smelled like crap and the room was a mess don't go there I hated it. go anywhere but here. The toilets weren't even flushed ! take my advice and not go there

Ok place, decent value. Staff are sometimes good but sometimes very bad and insisted on cash payment even though all literature says they take credit cards (they even tried to get cash payment in advance). Restaurant is actually pretty good but is packed with business travellers between 8 and 9am (since it doesn't open until 8am).
