Very laid back staff and guests, bad WiFi. If you seriously intend to stay there, make sure not to pay more than USD 10. There might be worse places, but not so much.

Straight up trash place with scummy dudes running it. We took the A/C room and the ac didn’t work also had cockroaches on our beds and in the washroom. When we went back downstairs, we looked for the staff but could not find them instead there were cockroaches in their place. Soon enough we realized everyone in the whole hotel were cockroaches and we ourselves began to feel the change taking place. We ran to the street and got a tuk tuk out of there!
.no seriously though the place was bad.

White River II Guesthouse staff - friendly and helpful. Prices are good. Resturant - great with room service available. Stayed several months. Try to get room with less noise. Beware of local thieves, prostitutes, and scam artist in red-light area. Good Security is paramount for all travellers to Cambodia.

This place appears to have two locations just down the street from one another. Our experience was at "White River 1", and the location of this Google place seems to coincide with "White River 2". We went to grab a drink and a snack at the restaurant for happy hour. Misleading sign claimed 1.50 drinks that turned out to be 2.25. My girlfriend got the gnocchi (which to be fair was expected to be mediocre). She is a vegetarian. Came with meat in it. Sent it back, got the proper one with "butter and Parmesan", which was more like an omelet due to the fact that they put egg in it. Nothing good to say really, and judging by the other reviews are we're not the only ones.

The worst hotel during my trips in combodia

- room and bed very dirty
- moisture on the walls
- everything disfunctionnal (electricity, doors, windows, sanitary, fan)
- vomit all night after eat food
- maybe the personnal is pleasant, when you distribute your dollars and shutup, but in case of problem, there are clearly bad faith and depleasant!!

with 10-20 USD u can find new hotel and best place to live

I got a twin room that does not look the way they look in the pictures. The nicer pictures are dated.

The air-conditioning is wonky.

Bathroom has a wretched smell.

The fridge is filthy.

There was a rat in my room.

The shower has good pressure and hot water and the beds are comfortable.

Location is good as well but everything in that area is more expensive so be wary of your budget if you're someone who is returning to Phnom Penh with certain price expectations as I am.
