Wat Bo temple, the namesake for Wat Bo Road in Siem Reap is not old when compared to the famous Angkor temples, but it is one of the oldest modern era Buddhist temples in the Siem Reap area. Reading some reviewers comments about a beautiful and serene place, makes me wonder whether they ever visited, or if they were wearing their rose coloured glasses at the time. The temple compound is actually kind of a mess, but there are interesting areas and plenty of reasons to visit.

Very peaceful and calming. Worth a visit any time of the day. Sometimes just nice to sit and enjoy the peace of the temple.

idk whats up but when i was there the whole temple looked like under construction and a little bit demolished (?). Despite that it was really charming, you can feel like a Tomb Rider at the moments ! totally recommended ! 👌🏻
