Wonderful place to stay. We stayed 4 nights and would recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff were so professional, friendly and helpful. They upgraded our room for no charge. The hotel is new and very clean. Lots of amenities and a perfect location to walk to down town and the night market. Easy place to get a tuk tuk if needed. It's an unassuming looking hotel but don't let that fool you. Looks like a bank from the front. Beautiful inside with a wonderful rooftop pool and bar. Will definitely go again. ! !

Cleanliness could be improved and some room, especially suites, need more forniture. Even if they still have to improve something, my experience there was great. Good location, WiFi free, great breakfast and friendly staff are their main features. The rooftop pool is really nice.

New and nice hotel. Some rooms require additional furnitures. Breakfast is very good in a nice rooftop room close to the swimming pool. You can have your food sitting on the top floor terrace. I suggest this place for a long stay, not only for a touch and go for the temples. You'll enjoy your time in room too.

The hotel was ok.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Towels not so clean, and shampoo and soap were almost empty when we arrived and they did not refill them during our stay.
The breakfast was ok.
Receptionists was kindly but give us some wrong informations about temples.
The Jacuzzi was broken.
The swimming pool was ok, but the swimming pool area was not well-kept.
The location is 5 minute downtown/pub street by walk.
The hotel offered us the pick up service from the airport for free. Besides the tuk tuk driver, Vireak, take us wherever we wanted to see all siam reap temples and he also gave us some advices.response / report this review -

Dirty, dim, the shampoo and soap were not full on our arrival, nor did they get re-filled during the course of our stay. Pool looks very uninviting, definitely wouldn't go in the hot tub. Doesn't seem well-kept in the least.

I go for $1 tapas every Wednesday night. I usually have four tapas and two drinks. Good value meal for tourists but a little pricey for expats. They also add 10% tax. I hope they switch up the menu as for me it's starting to get a little boring.

Love their Wednesday night $1 drinks and tapas! I was sceptical of food quality for such a price but everything was so good! You can easily fill up your belly with 3 or 4 plates, then have a couple glasses of wine or beer or cocktails for just $1 each. Love it!

The room was a decent size. Cleanliness could be improved. It was obvious the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly everyday, e.g., killed a cockroach in room on first night, and dead cockroach was removed but cockroach blood still on floor. Didn't use pool for this reason. Soap in shower was never filled up, always empty. Air con needs to be on swing to work. Breakfast noodles are nice. Nice rooftop bar. Staff/owners disinterested as another reviewer says, e.g., strange greeting when we arrived (as if we just walked in to ask directions or something), and then an apology for greeting us in that manner. Ask for Ya if you want a tuk tuk - he's a great driver and person.

I've stayed in Siem Reap many times over the years, from Angkor Village nearby to cheapo guesthouses and budget hotels near the Old Market and Wat Bo road.
The Soria Moria is a decent choice in the Wat Bo road area, 10 minutes walk across busy streets to the Old Market area. There is a good breakfast and the hotel staff is helpful. Inexpensive laundry is available, though you can get it done more cheaply down the street a bit.
We found ourselves having lunches and dinners in the Old Market area, though there are restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The rooftop bar is pleasant. The pool is micro sized.
Air con didn't work at first (it had to be on "swing" position) and the couple we were traveling with had a power outage for a few hours. There's a reliable elevator, which doesn't sound all that interesting, but it was new to me after an absence of years from Siem Reap.response / report this review -

Good location, within walking distance of grocery store catered to Westerners and several restaurants. An older hotel, but room was clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. Got a free upgrade and pickup from the airport (via tuk tuk).

On Monday evenings, there is a Apsara dance evening with a set menu, highly recommended. The dance itself is performed by teenagers from a local school, and the food is pretty good as well. Great value for money!
