Great experience. We did the local livelihoods tour which included visits to little cottage industries in the owner’s backyard - or under the main house as it were. We visited a rice paper maker, saw how they make dried bananas, sampled some local fruits and even tastes some rice wine flavored with smoked cobra. My favorite stop was the bamboo sticky rice at the end of the tour - great flavor!
Our tour guide, Pom, was lovely and spoke good English. He took the time to explain how they make all the different foods.
At $25 per person ($27 if you’re going alone) it is very reasonably priced and profits are shared with the local community. The tour took about 4 hours and covered 22km of flat ground.
Highly recommended! We rented bikes by ourselves one day and went on a half day trip the next. We had Mony as our guide, and had a great time visiting families and trying out different food. We also enjoyed cycling around alone the countryside, but made the mistake of not getting back to the city before it got dark. I would not recommend cycling on the road during dark, as it gets dusty and hard to see anything.
My Family loved the tour,a look at the raw country side of Battambang.
Really enjoyed my cycle tour with Soksabike, friendly guides and good quality well maintained bikes, very interesting look at rural industries and nature around battambang!
Awesome bike tour with really knowledgable and friendly guides, one of the best ways to see Battambang and the surrounding area! I enjoyed the first tour so much that I signed up for a second one a few days later.
This was one of the best experiences I had in Cambodia: we did the half day trip and got to see how rural Cambodian's live. Included rice paper making, bamboo cakes, genocide memorial and rice wine. Our guide Phalla taught us a few Khmer phrases and his English was excellent. I can't recommend this place enough.
Best bike company in Asia
Wonderful staff eager to share their knowledge and love of Cambodian people and culture. Easy bike ride through the countryside made for a fun morning. They contribute to local rural people while training young Cambodians. Check them out.
We rented mountain bikes for a day here. Bikes we're oldER, but in good condition, and they even gave me a gel seat. (Thank you so much for this, it saved my day!) $5/bike/day
Very good
Absolutely amazing experience
We went with a small tour group with families children ranging in age from 6-13. The tour leaders were outstanding in looking after everyone in the group and accommodating different speeds and abilities of children.
We visited local agricultural producers to learn about the production of rice paper, dried banana, sticky rice and other local produce. We met many really beautiful Cambodians.
