I didn’t stay there, I just went there to enjoy the swimming pool, for $3/pax.
The swimming pool and the environment was nice but the waitress was so bad and the food wasn’t not so good:
- no smile
- I had to take the menu and order by myself
- I ask for a coffee, she said no but another customer ask for the same and she said yes.

Very cool swimming pool, peaceful and nice. One advice though : never ever accept massage propositions from the owner, he clearly crosses borders and tries to go for your intimate parts, and ones could call that sexual harassment.

Delux Villa Battambang is clearly the best accommodation in Battambang. Very clean. Beautiful pool. Extremely attentive staff. This family run hotel ensures all guest's needs are met. Rooms are magnificent. We have stayed here 6 times and will return next year. We feel like members of the Lim family. Donna and Steve Australia.

Nice room with a beautifully carved bed. Bathroom was clean but the floor of the room always felt sandy. Took a while to figure out the hot water system (hint: turn the green tap anti clockwise to get hot water and the red tap for cold - go figure). The pool area was nice and relaxing - great way to while away the time in the hot afternoons.

Breakfast was very average and the staff didn’t seem happy to be there - not a single smile. We preferred cafe HOC just up the road even though the breakfast was included.

Very, very basic. No hot water in shower. Seeping smell of cigarette smoke coming into the room from somewhere, no real air into the room. The place and facilities were very old even for something on the cheaper side. Definitely better options around.

Nice place in general, but I found one cockroach a day in my room. Nastiest was when I woke up next to one.

Their food is pretty bad, except the fruits at breakfast. You cant ruin a fruit. Except the one that was spoiled. Meh. Owner/manager was a total douche who asked for more money for the room that Agoda offered.

All in all, meh. Dont expect much.

Good value for money but upscale (for Cambodia) hotel with a nice swimming pool and friendly staff. Recommended if you are looking to relax after the long boat ride from Siem Reap.
