  We enjoyed our stay at Sangker Villa and felt the official rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️ was fair. The rooms were dated with cables and ducting running every which way. Our bed was a little stiff and mosquitoes in the room meant uncomfortable sleeps 😴😴
  
  The staff were friendly and enjoyed a chat. The breakfast lovely and the pool welcoming after walking around the hot city centre. Unfortunately both our transfers didn’t work out through the villa. One never arrived and the other was 30mins late.

  We received a warm welcome at Sangker Villa in Battambang. A petit boutique hotel in a quiet area of town with a lovely pool and bar area and an honesty system after hours. It was one of the more expensive places we stayed in Cambodia. Ask for a room with a window and note that breakfast is on the small side. We looked forward to Khamer eggs and delicious as this dish was one egg was is not 'eggs.

  A corner of paradise in Battambag!
  The room was clean and beautiful. There is also a cute bar with a salt water swimming pool. They organize tours at good price. Try they home made sorbets!!
