Magic place with wonderful people! We intended to stay 4 nights and ended up staying for 9, still not wanting to ever leave! Loved our stay here!

We spent three nights at the resort and I couldn’t be more happy. The area is relaxing and surrounding by nature, every morning we woke up with the sound and view of the sea. The resort has its own private beach or also you can walk less than 10 minutes to the main beach of the island.
Nice to eat and drink something in the restaurant, the food is super good. The staff is amazing and also very helpful, you feel like home. If you want to spent a few days in Koh Rong Sanloem this is your place.response / report this review -

What our request is repairing our cell phone and the stuffs what we lost due to your taxi boat sinking, and the psychological compensation we will donate to orphanage or children’s school that what we told you, but Mr.Indrek’s attitude is no any responsibility he should take for your boat sinking and almost let your customer died, even no apology that what we angry.the key important thing is he doesn’t mentioned how you improve your facility to decrease the risk of same accident but only excuses for responsibility, if some day your customer who cannot swim and same thing happen again, what the disaster it would be! Attitude is the first we anger.and we hope all of your staffs has travel insurance otherwise if this accident happen on you, your boss will tell you - why didn’t you have travel insurance? maybe you can’t talk anymore and he talk to your family.
We will keep posting to other hotel agent website and relatives official department to notice someone who will travel to Sanloem island and avoid your hotel.Anyway Mr.Indrek doesn’t care the reputation on internet.response / report this review -

Our while family (4 adults and one kid) planned a trip to Cambodia Koh Rong Sanloem island and booked Laguna hotel on 2nd Nov., it oringinally should be a happy trip untill the hotel texi boat sinking on the sea way to the hotel, below is going to desicribe how terrible we experienced,
Due to mainland ferry delayed from Sihanukeville to Sanloem island, we arrived island pier at around 1820 and the sky already turned to dark, Laguna hotel sent a small boat to main pier of island to picked us up to hotel, there was no any life vest or any life-saving facilities on the boat, but it was dark and we were exhausted after 2 hours mainland ferry trip, what we want is going to hotel as soon as faster, so we took this boat without thinking too much, that day's weather was quite good which means no wind or wave but the accident happened when the boat just close the hotel pier, firstly we heard the boat man panic and shouted to each other, and sea water seeped in the bow of boat then the boat was sinking into the sea in a split second, all of us dropped into the bottomless sea including my 2 years old kid, when it happened i was panic and sank into lightless sea, i thought we were all dying in foreign place but thinking about my family then i tried to swim up to search where they were, i saw my baby be hold by my wife, luckily the baby stuff's bag what my wife carried is made by plastic and it can be floated as a swimmer's aid, and both of my mother and brother also catched their plastic suitcase as a life vest floated on the sea, and all of us swam to the hotel pier and the hotel staffs pulled us up to the ground, thanks god, we all still breathed,
After going back to hotel room we found so many injuries on all of us during boat sinking, and we lost lot of our stuffs such as all electric facilities broken(cell phone,charging battery), sun-glass, couple of pair shoes, all luggage and cloths got wet, but the hotel staffs comforted us and promised us they will take their responsbility, next day, the hotel staff told us to discuss with their boss named Mr. Indrek when we go back to Sihanukeville, he is the man who only can give us a proper answer, when we met up in Sihanukeville local hotel, "All of you are still alive, and the all injuries seems small cut and bruise, all of you will be fine", Mr. Indrek said, he suggested us to apply for travel insurance, nothing is hotel's responsbility, including the broken electric facilities and lost stuffs, all risk is on customer, he would not take any responsibility for all of that, what he means if any customer eating the hotel meal and got food poisoning, the risk is also on customer, and he doesn't care the reputation on internet, what an asshole,
Finally, I would like to strongly suggest every hotel agent website that "STOP COOPERATING WITH THIS KIND OF HOTEL RUNNING BUSINESS", taking their boat as same as human life as a trash, I will inform other hotel agent website such as hotel.com or booking.com, to avoid someone might be killed by their unsafe small boat,
Note: I would like to thank both of Mr. Vignesha and Ms. Joyce who are manager of Laguna hotel, they did the right thing when this emergent situation happened, such as dry tower, hot ginger tea, their dry cloth and meal, but i think other job will be better based on what kinds boss you are working with,response / report this review -

The bungalow bedroom part was nice however for this luxury grade price there was no air con and no minibar, there was no handtowel in bathroom, the showering corner wasnt very clean and the water was disposed very slowly (after a minute of showering you had a mini pool there), the restaurant had no proper tables and the variety of foods and drinks was very limited. All the time there was at least 2 or 3 anoying dogs around you while eating or with your drink. The "beach" was realy terible, lots of dirt and fragments of sea shells, many big stones in the water so you could not comfortably swim, water wasnt so clear so you didnt see where you are going. Its not worth the money!
