  This Hotel has a wondetful design with nice furnitures with old statue in Khmer architecture . Its attacting many foreigners come to stay for their Holiday. Katari is located in a very popular area where you can taste very delicious food next door restuarant call Mok many and between a few block you can try our local brand coffee called Brown coffee Bakery so what you need , just around you ready.

  Room is OK, staffs are not very friendly. Free sauna and steambath but normally nobody uses and no staff support the service in sauna and steambath area.

  Have been to Katari Hotel mutiple times. It's draw is its relative good location, cleanliness, good staff support compared to the price.
  The rooms are large and spacious, and they do serve a free water bottle.
  The beds are well tidied and kept. Wifi is provided by their randomly generated user ID and pw, and is of decent speed.
  Around the hotel sits many nice coffee places, eateries and a private hospital. It's relatively safe (have not seen any suspicious figures lurking around) and I myself have walked around the area at night.
  Have not tried the gym or pool.
  Will recommend.

  It was convinient not 5 star but much much better than backpacker - a businessman's hotel. In fact we saw a number of American businessmen and women there as well as a few Chinese guests. Close enough to town but I do not rate phnom Penh so highly.

  All in all its not a terrible Hotel. All around average. Realistically I'd like to give it 3.5.
  Here are the shortcomings:
  - one elevator for 3 floors
  - cleaning staff does an unremarkable job doing the rooms
  - the bed is a quite hard. (A downside for my girlfriend and I)
  
  Here are the positives
  - breakfast is solid
  - staff is really friendly
  - good location (10 minute Tuk tuk ride from museum, palace, independence monument and s21)
  - overall room is clean
  - area is safe

  The ideal place for a biz trip around 5-days to two weeks. The staffs are friendly, but the wifi connection is unacceptable.

  Wonderful modern rooms with all facilities. Extremely friendly efficient staff. Lovely breakfast spread with continental, Chinese and American buffet plus fresh cut tropical fruits like mangoes, dragon fruit , oranges, watermelons. Located in a cool hip place with interesting cafes and Independence monument.
