We had quite a good experience here. The rooms were clean, and made up every day. The service was very good and helpful. Food was a tad on the high side for the quality but it was to be expected. The pool was lovely but it could definitely use a good scrub, there is a lot of black buildup on the grout joints in the pool(when touching the side went under my fingernails). Breakfast altogether was pretty good, the juice was real, and there was plenty of fruit.
My only disappointment was the eggs Benedict which was absolutely not an eggs Benedict(instead of hollandaise sauce they half cooked an egg chopped it up and dumped it on top of two poached eggs which were sitting in a puddle of water). When I commented that it was not an eggs Benedict the receptionist told me “that’s how we do it we don’t have sauce”, which is absurd because it’s super easy to make. If you can’t make a dish, don’t put it on the menu. I did eat it because I didn’t want to waste food but it was not enjoyable.response / report this review -

Nice budget hotel. Great pool. Scenic location. Good restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff. Property a bit dated and in need of repair, but still a very nice time. Happy that I came.

Good big swimming pool, fairly good rooms, very nice outdoor decor, clean and good prices. Not busy. Friendly owner. The breakfast choice is a bit limited.
