  This basically cleared forest.. Lots of small farms rough laterite roads.. There are a few animals mostly birds

  The volunteers there are doing an amazing job. they are very dedicated, you could tell that they had a love for what they do. the volunteer who was assigned to our group was courteous, professional and she knew each animal. i love the fact that the animal are able to do as they pleased, while we went looking around for the elephants, you could see that they were well cared for. the elephants were not living in terror that they would be beaten if they did not complied to the wishes of the visitors.

  The area is quite huge on the map but the remain forest is much less than the protected area size. Anyway, it still remain good forest that need stricter protection!
