Its an easy day out of Phnom Penh. There are some delightful spots but most have been ruined by the crowds of people who visit on weekend and holidays. If you explore and go up towards the Pagoda there are some nice spots but you do need your own vehicle

Kirirom National Park is one among National Parks in Cambodia. It is about 100 km away from Phnom Penh and locates in Kompongspeu Province. It famous of natural beauty, pine trees are fully accupied the area. It has waterfall, former summer palace, and private investment resort. Tourists love seasonal fruit from this area and absolutely the fresh air of the mountain Some tourists also take this oppotunity to visit Chambok Community Based Ecotourism as well.

As a person who find it hard to stay under warm weather I always enjoy spending time eating, sight seeing and resting here. The climate here is just cool. Spending time reading books is ideal. I can feel at peace listening to sound of water fall/cascade. I love the view of pine trees and you can shoot your pre-wedding here. It's also a good place for meditation. I recommend a one day visit.

If you seek for moderate to challenging hike trip to the jungle with distance about 17km, there is the best place, start from ecotourism site through bamboo forest, see bat cave, enjoy with beautiful waterfall, explore beautiful jungle and enjoy with birds watching.
