AWFUL stay- they DO NOT pick you up from the airport- that is a lie. I emailed them 5 times and called 3 times and no one answered. I had to pay $10 to arrive. When I got to the room, the young man did not even apologize. Instead, he gave me a very depressing crappy room. It had 2 beds- one bed had no sheets so I could see all the gross stains all over- and he put my bag onto of that bed. It was disgusting. The room had a horrible smell to it. I asked to be put into a different room and he said no. I was hoping to stay a week but I could not wait to get out of here. No electric kettle, no view or balcony (unless you call a brick wall a "view"), stinky room, theres not even a restaurant as stated in the ad. I posted a photo here. You have to walk down a dirt alley filled with trash to arrive. I do NOT recommend this place. There are SO many nice places near here for the same price. I stayed at 2 different places and both of them sent me an email immediately after booking and asked if they could pick me up from the airport. So I clearly picked the wrong place here.

The room was very big and had multiple universal plugs which was a great plus to power up electronic devices. The place is also quite central and close to the night market.

The staff was also very helpful when we needed anything. The only downside is the bathrooms the shower curtain contained mold which probably was the reason why the room was stinking.

First off, you don't get a welcome drink as they advertise. Instead, you get a drugged up staff who says you can get a drink from them the next time they have a party
Oh they have parties indeed. In the middle of the night so sure you can't sleep
The rooms large which is good. No fridge. The doorknob stopped working for us. We asked them in the morning to fix it, which they said they'd do We come back that evening and it isn't fixed. Anyone could've walk right in while we were gone.
They used motor oil to fix it.

The staff had a blasé attitude with their customers. The floors aren't cleaned before you check in, FYI.

Be sure to only book here when the prices are low (less than $11), as it is a budget accommodation.

Awesome room, great bathroom. Staff was super accommodating to our travel schedule and refunded us a day that we booked on accident. Location is nice and out of the way. Only issue was wifi reception in our room was inconsistent.

We walk in this place around 5pm and got a good bargain at last minute check in. Family room, 2 double beds for $10. AC is working fine, shower pressure is good. Near to asian market, night market and pub street. Peaceful and quiet. Helpful guys.

We stayed for a few nights and really enjoyed the Kok Meng Lodge. It is located next to the Pubstreet but in a really quite area.
Rooms were spacious with A/C and even two chairs and a little table.

Wifi could be better

Booked this place for a three night stay and advised them on our booking that we were travelling from Koh Kong by bus which takes 12 hours so we would be arriving late. On arrival around 8.30pm we were put on the phone to an English speaker who informed us the aircon wasn't working so we couldn't stay there. He gave us no other option and said we would have to find somewhere else and wasn't even apologetic. We were never informed of this prior to arrival and it sounded like he had actually double booked himself and was just making an excuse as he didn't actually have a room for us. Poor service.

This place is a family run hotel. The price is very good for what you get. We had a large room with a good bathroom. There were a lot of mosquitos in our room but they sprayed it all down and it was fine. The family who run this place are lovely and offered us food when they were eating in the courtyard. You can get a cheap tuktuk from here too. A bit difficult to find - it's down an earth track between a supermarket and some shops. Location is brilliant though. Close to town, only a 10 minute walk. No breakfast but with the supermarket just next door this wasn't a problem for us. Would recommend.
