Came to kampot for Christmas, I stayed at the relatively new Karma traders, and have been compelled to write this due to the great times I had there. They have large, spacious and clean dorms with air con, nearly King sized beds, a brand new pool at the back of the building which is perfect for sunny afternoons with mates or family, fantastic staff who are always in a good mood and genuinely there to help out, it felt less like just the standard party hostel you always find, and more like a place that was designed to cater for all types of guest, from families with small children to senior citizens who enjoy sitting quietly at the rooftop bar in peace. That being said, the party atmosphere is definitely there for those who are up for same late night drinks, there are various musical instruments laying around, a ping pong table, a TV room with sofas and beds, chill out balconies with hammocks. Also, they have live music events on Tuesday which is always a great night, made better by home made tacos with some seriously tasty options (vegetarian and vegan friendly also) these guys deserve 5 stars because its clear they're in it for the right reason, to give their guests a good time. Check it out, you'll end up extending multiple times as I did!

Nice, clean hostel with a great pool, great views of Bokor especially sunsets. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Taco Tuesdays are awesome with delicious tacos and live music. Bit of a walk from town but doable, you're gonna want to rent a scooter anyways to check out the area. Would recommend.

Quite a cool hostel. Their community dinners are a must attend. I enjoyed every bit of my stay here. It is a little walk from the city centre but still manageable. I really loved the location. It overlooked the Bokor Hills. That is all you want to see of the Bokor Hill Station. The view form downstairs. They have a pool as well. The people working at the bar keep on changing and are usually very friendly and nice.

This lovely Resort hosted a Christmas party that was fabulous. They even gave away soft cotton Christmas t-shirts and a Christmas hat with the dinner. The dinner was fabulous with potato salad and macaroni and cheese along with yams and other goodies like mashed potatoes and gravy. The views from the place are outstanding, looking out onto hills, fields, and trees. All of the guests seemed pretty happy with things. All in all it was a lovely time with piped-in Christmas music and live music later.

The culture and experience at karma traders sets it apart from everything else in kampot. The views are miraculous and the entire project is brilliantly imagined and employed. A must visit. Most especially on Tuesday or whenever you need to cool off at the pool.

Just amazing!!! Dont look further but stay here. Its clean, friendly staff, made awesome new friends. Food is also good and the dorms are really nice. Comfy beds for only $5.. Wow!!

Really amazing place to stay. Staff are so friendly and vibes are really chilled and relaxed. Location is perfect, being out of town but still only a short tuk tuk ride away. Third floor bar is one of the highlights, especially the awesome views. Would definitely recommend!

Really nice hostel, comfortable and clean. Rooftop bar and hangout areas are great, easy to meet friends! The owners and staff are lovely, they are super helpful. This place is just out of town >15 mins walk.

Really nice hostel. Super clean and friendly staff. So easy to talk to people and the roof bar was packed. Wish I had stayed another night! One of the best sleeps I had in Cambodia the beds even have their own curtains for privacy. Make sure you rent a motorbike if you stay here though as it's far out of town and the path in is pretty muddy if it's been raining.

With such beautiful views, spacious rooms, friendly helpful staff, and a feeling like you are home, I could not recommend that people stay here more. Since arriving I have extended my stay more than once. Kampot offers a range of beautiful mountains to explore. With a hot shower to look forward to and an ice cold beer after a day of adventure, I have truly enjoyed my stay. Will be retuning again in the near future.

Build very well, nice and comfy!
The staff are the best and make us feel very welcome, we extend uor staying 3 days more because of them..
