The oldest of three Java Cafes in PP, this one is a classic and is great for breakfast and lunch. Expect good Western food with friendly, English speaking wait staff. Don't forget fresh made bakery items and coffee.

The service was good and the food was fresh. But it was overpriced and there was zero art on the walls. Then I went upstairs and found they have another cafe with art up there.

I was with a gorgeous date. We asked for a tuk tuk driver and we had to wait 10 minutes. 2 years ago the guard kept asking where i was from. I said to the man it was a long day and i was tired. No other restaurant staff asked me that in cambodia ovee 4 years. No one asks my anything unless they were jealousl of my company, my date. My date got very angry with me. All because of the guard and the absent tuk tuk. We just spent 15$ and there was no need for all that rudeness.

The coffee here is great! Some of the furniture is a little worn, but generally a cozy place. Price is a touch on the high side, but worth the taste.

The menu has a lot of items so we picked a few to try, salmon omelette, egg Florentine as breakfast and lattee and a milk shake. We got sick very badly afterwards They should be more careful with their hygiene.

The best place to sit with a laptop and get your stuff done. The coffee, food and baked goods at Java never disappoint, and it's created a very cozy, homey environment for anyone looking for a place to work, or even just escape the scorching sun and mindless traffic for an hour or two. Best part is they have a lot of art and culture events, most often featuring local artists. The second floor is a beautiful gallery space, and their opening events include free wine (!), so you have no reason not to check it out.

One of my favorite spot especially for brunch! The terrace upstairs is just perfect to chill on weekends. The eggs florentine are very good as well as the very berry smoothie! But actually almost all the plates are great - don't miss the french fries as well!

Many things on the menu, but not many things that they do extremely well. Would suggest focusing on fewer menu items and the quality of those items. Alsoportion sizes are much smaller than what is paid.

I loved spending a lot of time there working on my laptop. It has a pretty good internet connection, coffee and food. Sometimes it can get pretty noisy as well - upstairs and downstairs.

This was one of first places friends have taken me to when I arrived to live in PP. I like their upstairs terrace much more than inside. It is popular, western place. I like their steak and all of their soups. Nice drinks, sweets, coffee. It's a fancy place to spend some time writing, working, eating, having lunch meeting or reading book. Quiet space and smiling staff make me feel comfortable when I work there. Sometimes I wasn't content with meals but few in the menu are super good. I like to order dishes from the smaller 1st page of their menu, different on different days.

Been coming to Phnom Penh for 6 years now and Java is somewhat of a morning tradition. Good solid food/coffee is decent and the wifi is solid!

I was in Phnom Penh right after Thanksgiving and I found the most delicious pumpkin pie here that hit the spot. The food is very good though the service can be a little spotty. I worked both on the first and second floors and the wifi reliability depends on how many other people are at the cafe (so naturally it was super slow).
