Very relaxing, rustic place. Basic. Great food, chilled out bar. No wifi, intermittent electricity. We very much enjoyed our stay off the grid.

Recently under new ownership - new owner seems to have the place on the right track. Staff and volunteers were friendly.

If the host feels slighted they will literally put rat feces in your food. Beautiful place ruined by the staff.

Not really an accomodation service, just a few dirty shacks run by group of friends that doesnt care about customers. Everything in the “rooms” is broken, we were lucky we could lock the door, which doesnt really make sense since you cannot close windows. Beach could be nice, but is full of thrash and nobody from the staff cleans it. They shouldnt charge money but instead give prizes for finishing your booked stay, we didnt. And nobody from staff ask why.

We had a room for only night. The view was absolutely amazing. The location is good as there is only a few persons on the whole beach. Food very good. The bad things is that when it was raining during the night it came in a few drops in the bed but only for a short while. A bit noisy but that's everywhere here.

The perfect Place to Relax. The Price for the Food, drinks and Bed´s are appropriate for this little lovely place. The jungle shower is the best ;)
    I would come back here.

Cozy atmosphere, great staff and simple but beautiful bungalows. Best place on the island for a relaxed and remote getaway!! Food's outstanding as well, by the way.

Nice accommodation if you take the bungalow. You have a big bad, that's everything you need on an island like this. Toilette and shower is not working sometimes. And there are lots of mouses. But hey If want Luxus then don't go onto an island like koh rong samloem. This island is really beautiful and I loved it to stay there. You can completely relax. And the French food in the huba huba restaurant is really good

Basic accommodation. Very basic as in holes in the walls, bucket showers, and no power for most of the day. The food is overpriced as well as the beer. The beach is nice but needs to be cleaned. Many staff around and hard to get service. They need much more up keeping of the property as things are getting overgrown and branches fell on the restaurant when I was there, safety concern. The hike through the jungle is quite a hike not to be done with packs on. The staff was alright yet tried to change prices of boat tickets to cut themselves in on it. Nice side to visit for the day but don't bother staying there as it is too expensive for such basic services.

If I could give 0 I would. I made a booking 3 months ago which was confirmed. I have now been contacted to say that they can't accommodate our booking with no explanation. I can only assume they have taken another booking for a longer time. I read reviews that said similar things but decided to give Huba Huba the benefit of the doubt, wish I hadn't because I am now left without accommodation only a month before my trip.

We all know that Koh Rong Saloem is beautiful. That is without question. But this review is about the accommodation and I wouldn't wish my experience on my worst enemy. I was extremely tired the first night and woke up covered in bites. The next night because I had slept so much I was awake and felt things crawling on me and using my phone light saw bed bugs to my disgust and horror. I killed around 10 of them and stayed awake until 0400 but fell asleep and at 0600 woke again to a bed bug crawling on me. I checked out at 0700. I explained to the staff and they offered me a coffee. I was bitten over 200 times and was extremely sick for 3 days and it took 10 days for the bites to go away. I had to wash everything and I threw my backpack away. If you think that is overreacting have a Google. I did read a prior review about bed bugs and thought they must have sorted it. Trust me they haven't and if you don't want to be sick and ruin your Island experience don't stay there. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Stayed down the beach and only came for the food but it was good and similarly priced to the rest of the resorts on this side of the island. If you stay for a few days check them all out.

Great team, good vibes. The place is perfect. Limited electricity et no wifi. You don't cross the world to see that beautiful place and stay stick to you damn phone. So just breath, enjoy the sea and the sun.

Probably the best of the 3 resorts on this beach. Great for sunset hammocks, but the beach gets coveted in lots of rubbish washed up. All in all I wouldn't stay on this beach unless I was addicted to sunsets. The other beaches are much better.

Nice place on the really quiet side of the island! Just relax at the beach or walk around in the jungle.
