If the host feels slighted they will literally put rat feces in your food. Beautiful place ruined by the staff.

The place itself on the Sunset beach is magical. There are only four resorts with few bungalows and dorms, so it feels you have the place to yourself.
It took 35 mins walking through the jungle to get to this place, and it was worth it for its relaxing, chilling atmosphere and beautiful clear water and fine sand beach.
The accommodation however was very basic (which is ok when you are on a remote island), but seemed to be overpriced. For the price of €32 we got a bungalow with a hard wood bed only and shares it with a rat (who ate my friends orios). The bathroom didn't have a shower, you had containers of fresh water, 30 litres per 4 people, that was refilled in the morning at 9:30. The sink only had salty water, so no fun to be brushing teeth in it. The second night we decided to stay in the doorms (above the bar), for $5 a night (mattresses with mosquito nets on the floor) and could even sleep as there was more breeze coming in in comparison to being shut between 4 walls without a fan/A/C or a breeze.
It would be worth for owners look into providing fresh water from the shower and sink, or amend/lower the prices for bungalows. For €32 it was well overpriced.

Awesome place ! Young French owners with a great staff ! Best vibe place on sunset beach for a beer and enjoying the beach. Nice dorms and amazing food (big plates) ! Highly recommand that place. Not easy access with travellers bag (40 min hike in the jungle with our bagpacks), but the place is magical. It is a paradise. Much better than the north side beach of Koh Rong Sanloem.

    Food 5/5
Delicious! It takes a long time to make but worth the wait

    Attitude 3/5
    Staffs are friendly.
When booking for a boat, they charged $20 per person. I guessed the tip is $5, which is quite high

    Place 2/5
The dorm hygiene is not good. My friends got insect bites all over.
