It's almost off the beaten track, so relatively few drunken back packers stumble through here. Give it a few years and the peace will be gone, so get in fast. The irony of this post means I'm perpetuating the loss of this tranquility. Sorry world.

We had our first breakfast in the island here, and it was fine, nothing special (better options on the pier). But the servicenever seen anything like it before! Arrogant and rude, really bad combination. Speaking with many others we saw this was aa common impression. We even witnessed 2 super polite French kids that asked politely if they could use the toilet - and they were told to go find their parents!

It is also very loud from time to time. We (unfortunately) slept right beside it, and one day they had loud drum and bass music and conversations until 2 am! We were told that "that's no party; you will see what a party is!" and "it's only people having fun"

Also bear in mind that their kayaks are more expensive than other places nearby

Accomodation wise i stayed in the dorms, its basic but functional. bunk with mosquito net and sheet. in general theres not much focus on cleanliness in the rooms/shared toilets, but if u want that then stay in a more expensive place.

ET bar is a very cool place to hang. the bar is the centrepoint, the staff are very cool. the food is arguably the best value, and they can help u get a boat anywhere e.g. sunset or lazy beach. they really make you feel like part of the crew
