Outside of the city centre and Pub street, only 12-13mins easy stroll, but hostel also offers bikes free of charge. Very good option for people looking to be closer to real life Cambodia (as much as possible, ofc). Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Basic, but good place. Very good value for money!
Note: owners are Chinese and don't speak English, so be prepared to use Google Translate to get your way around. :)
Having said that, they are very nice people and will do anything to accommodate your needs.response / report this review -

staff were smiling and helpful. clean and friendly enviroment. nothing flashy but fulfills basic expectations. location 1.3 km from pubstreet but its OK because you have free bikes and its good to ride around the city. overall, recommended for any type of travellers (couples, groups, single travellers etc)

The bathroom, which was dirty and seriously stained (photos attached) was never cleaned in the week I was there and judging by the stains for a while beforehand. I ended up cleaning it myself. Tap dripping was never fixed. Same trash in the bin as when I arrived. The kitchen, which they tried to CHARGE me for using and the common area, is the families living quarters and I was indirectly made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome eating or cooking there. They're always watching what you are doing, especially in the kitchen. Even though in the facilities list it says shared kitchen, they not happy when your using it. This area they keep clean. I wished they'd showed the same enthusiasm on the bathroom. Lots of Mosquitoes and Flies. One mini fridge for the whole hostel. No lockers. No toilet paper. No atmosphere. 1 km from restaurants/cafés. 2 km to the city centre. Moved hostels in the end.
The Chinese family who run the hostel were friendly ISH and tried to be helpful but out of the three, only one spoke very little English. Free drinking water. Free bicycle use. WiFi ok but not so good in the rooms. Kitchen?????????.response / report this review -

중국분들이 운영하는 호스텔 거리가 도심에서 조금 멀다는게 불편하지만 자전거를 무료로 빌려주고 직원 분들이 매우 친절함 어차피 막상 여기머물면 앙코르와트 관광하느라 피곤해서 바로 자게된다. 무엇보다 주변이 로컬 지역이라 조용하고 도심지보다 물가가 싸다.

一直都有住登巴，在中国登巴60多家差不住了一大半，这里的暹粒登巴一如既往的满意，不管是服务还是设施，三层楼大别墅，还有免费台球，好赞。还会再来的
