I have travelled with them twice when I was in Cambodia. Their buses are not really bad Quite comfortable. But the service is not.
One bus was 30 minutes in advance.
Other was 90 minutes late.
They have got 10s of destinations covered across Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand..response / report this review -

Do not Book any busses with them at all went from Kampot to Battambang. First Minivan to PP; was cramped, 3 persons had to sit in the opposite direction. In PP it got really „funny“ as after 2 hours of „lunchbreak“ we brought from their office to another travel Agent; the rude guy their didn’t want us to take on the bus, so we were stuck in his office. After that we got back to Champa office in PP ourselves (after I called them 3 times and everything they promised to pick us up). After some discussion there, the clerk promised us to get us on the next Minivan which should take 5-6 hrs in fact we were brought to a bus station and are sitting in a bus to Battambang, stopping for every chicken on the street to be picked up oder dropped of after 11 hrs of travel we made 300 km out of the 400 km in total If you’ve really read that: Don’t book! (From Kampot / Kep go to PP with Giant Ibis oder Mekong Express and then u can easily arrange onward transport yourself!)

I travelled from Phnom Penh to Kampot today on the mid day bus.
Pick up and departure were on time.The Mercedes minibus was not new,but in good condition,correctly loaded with luggage and not overcrowded.
The driver drove well,faster when road conditions allowed,not taking risks.
The brief stop had ok local facilities.Trip took about 3 and half hours with convenient drop off point.
I am very happy with the service,thank you to staff involved.

The old van we travelled in to Phnom Penh airport was completely full - 14 people (the most I've seen squeezed into a van this size) - however the driver still collected his sister five minutes in, who then occupied half my seat for the duration. Decent driver (only one near miss) and we made good time, however I'd recommend trying CTT just along the road for a much more comfortable journey!

Did Mekong Delta Tour with them. They rush to complete each days activities within 2 hours. They don’t tell you part of the “tour” is you riding a city(?) bus with no communication and then dropped off and delivered by scooter to the hotel. Each stop you are told what a great value it is to buy there. Talked to others at the hotels using other companies recommended at hostels and having longer activities. Boat “trips” have been about .5 to 2 miles long. Wouldn’t use again. They were recommended by local agent in Cambodia and had info at Vietnam consulate in Cambodia, so thought would be good.

sihanoukville to kampot we booked for 1230pm. they pick you up taking you to their office. then you wait till they finally get a full bus, which got us on the way to kampot only at 1400pm. they don't really care about the the times.
ended up sitting in a filthy office on something i call. barely chairs for around 90 minutes
go for another better company. this one has bad reputation.response / report this review -

Worst experience ever! I wanted to take the bus from Kampot to Ho Chi Minh City. They promised to pick me up at my guest house, which they didn't. Without notice they cancelled my bus. But I could take the following one, which would cause me to miss my flight. As a solution they booked a seat with another bus company, bringing me to Phnom Penh with transfer to a bus to HCMC. But the other company wasn't aware of it and I had to pay again a ticket. Corrupt agency, best to be avoided!

My 6th time using this service and I haven't learned yet. Bus is ALWAYS "stuck in traffic" going to Phnom Penh if they haven't sold enough tickets to fill a van or bus. Rather than being honest and saying "the bus will be an hour or two" they'll string you along by saying "wait 5 minutes" every 30 minutes. This is my last time using this service. If you ever need to get to Phnom Penh Airport for a flight, DO NOT RISK TAKING CHAMPA TO MAKE YOUR FLIGHT.
BTW the lady behind counter with the zits all over her face spent an hour talking bad about people in Khmer all while wiping her face with the tissue she had been blowing her nose with.response / report this review -

It's ok about as good as any of the other agencies, take the time estimates with a grain of salt there are always unseen delay many of which are out of anyone's control

I use this bus company every times whenever i was in Kampot, Sihanouk Ville or Kep. I have never been problem with my traveling. I am appreciates this Bus Company, they're doing a great job, they can arrange the customers to the difference destination at the same times departure. the staff are kindly, very warm welcome and so hospitality to every customers come. beside transportation they have many other tours services like passport extension visa, viet Nam Visa, and daily tours. many customers still use this bus company for exploring another new place. esp every when i come to Champa Mekong Travel, they can help me, even I am in rush, or need to do something quick the can help. thanks

Bought a ticket with this company to go from Kampot to Ho Chi Minh. The first minibus turned up just under an hour late. While waiting, the staff acted extremely strangely, two of them sort of play-wrestling with each other and then one of them trying to take selfies with the other two. Was pretty obvious that their behaviour was making everyone in the room uncomfortable. Driver of the minivan drove like a lunatic, often going in the direction of oncoming traffic just so he could overtake other vehicles quicker (and it takes a LOT to shock me in terms of driving). Barely spoke a word of English too. Once we got to the border, I was told I'd been given the wrong ticket and would have to wait by the border for 20 minutes for a different bus to arrive. It ended up being just under 2 hours and I had to talk to a random taxi driver for help understanding the ticket I'd been given. Minibus eventually picked me up and grunted at me with no apology whatsoever. Was then taken to a sleeper coach, which was fine but very cramped and nobody spoke a word of English. Ended up taking 3 hours longer than it was meant to and so couldn't get to my hostel. Awful experience, don't use this company.

AVOID THEM Big mess before departure causing at least 1 hr delay. European prices. Broken buses which are dangerous. 2 drivers and none of them knew the route to destination (Sihanoukville) they were driving around the town with no map not to mention GPS. Passengers are packed like sardines with the luggage everywhere. Driver almost torn our new backpack.

AVOID it if you can! The star is there because google doesn't let me put none and also for the driver as he only was taking us from A to B and had no responsibility in this case. First we left 1 hour late from the office in what was supposed to be only 10 minutes wait for next "bus". Then there's the cramped bus with towers of luggage and people. The worst comes when we get to the Cambodian/Vietnam border and one guy turned up in a bike from nowhere insisting in doing the passport stamps for us asking for a non existing fee. This guy works for CHAMPA TOURS, even when he doesn't wear any company shirt or budge. Then when some of us refuse he got rude and said he's there to do that job and start threatening with leaving us in the border as bus cannot wait Typical scam answers. Well at the end and after various arguments one on each border in front of the officials (who happily support this scams) we got our passports with 3 minutes difference and still he keep threatening to leave us there and saying that there are no bus for us. Look this is not a busy border and everyone should do their passports personally. There isn't any fee and it's easy enough to do yourself. Champa is NOT a HONEST company. It's a shame leaving a country with excellent people and memories this way.

Sihanoukville - kampot
1 Hour Late than a very big confusion with lugage by getting into the bus which is actually very small and overbooked. Air condition is available but not really helpfull becuause of the plastic seats.response / report this review -

We baught tickets from Kampot to Can Tho for USD 17. The trip was supposed to take 5 hours, but took 11 hours. we lost a day of traveling, since we arrive so late that we cannot book a tour for tomorrow. As we got over the border to Vietnam we got stuffed into a regular bus and it did stop everywhere to pick up people. I think the company did save money on not driving the mini-van that we paid for, and got seats in a regular bus instead. The information from the staff was poor and english knowledge too.

We were picked up from our comfortable guesthouse in Kampot at. 1 pm for a 1 pm bus. We were bought to this companies sweaty, dusty office thinking we would be on our way soon. We eventually left at 4 pm. There were no announcements and lots of confusion
