One of the tourist attractions in Battambang. Popular for both locals and internationals. Stairs are steep, especially the last part of the top, requiring more efforts. But you will enjoy ancient architectures, the breeze and the landscape when you are on the top.

My favourite temple im Battambang. You have to climb up 350+ stairs, but this is rewarded with a beautiful view over the surrounding landscape. The temple itself is nice to observe as well. It consists of 5 towers, one in the middle and the others in each corner. The outer towers are smaller, quite destroyed and do not have many carvings. The middle tower is in decent state and shows some magnificent carvings.

There are a bunch of laterirte temples on a very steep hill. The temples have no sculptures or details whatsoever and are in ruins due to lack of conservation efforts. You have to climb around 360 very steep steps to reach the top, which is not worth what's up there to see. Felt it was more a couple's and students hangout place rather than a tourist destination.
