Excellent laid-back relax GH, roots enough for you to overstay, not so far by bike from the city zoo. The dorms are a ward of beds separated by curtains, the windows made of bamboo tubes plus persiennes are originals. Noise from the city center can be hear. Good draw for your budget, besides james bond is a character, worth a chat !!

Nice place. A bit difficult to find. We had the double room and it was very big and clean. A couple of complimentary water bottles every day together with a kettle and powdered instant coffee. Electric heating on the shower. The owner is very kind and helpful. It introduces us to a tuk tuk driver we had for a couple of days to see the temples. Also the driver was very kind. A bit of noise during the night due to many dogs barking and music from nearby temples in the early morning. Otherwise perfect stay. Highly recommended.

Very nice place. Very chill, comfortable beds, decent food. James bond at the front desk is very knowledgeable and quite the character. A little far from the center but bicycles motorbikes and tuk tuks are all available. Would stay again

Cool place. It is very quite. The owner and receptionist are nice, friendly and support guests warmly. They also have kindly Tuk Tuk drivers. The sounds of birds and frogs is wonderful in the early morning. It's enjoyable and relaxed!

Very nice guesthouse tucked away on a residential street with local families, friendly dogs, chickens and even Cows that liked to be pet. We stayed in the double room which was clean, spacious and included a kettle and free coffee and water each day we stayed (4 total). The shower was hot too. Staff was extremely accommodating - it is locally owned and operated. Rithy was so helpful and very nice. He called in tuk tuks, gave advice and made good conversation with me about local culture. I didn't try their food but another guest told me it was tasty and portions were nicely sized. The only thing I had was the breakfast which was okay. A toasted baguette, two pieces of toast and a fried egg in the middle with coffee and sweet milk. Very basic. I'd hope for less bread and maybe two eggs, a fruit and some orange juice. But it's only $1.50 and I guess you get full but solely on two varieties of bread. The public areas were clean and fellow travelers were cool. Lastly, the location. Was very nice to be away from the city (a short 15min walk to the center). We woke up to Buddhist chanting echoing in the distance and chickens. So nice out there and feels like a rural escape although just tucked away from the city. Very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommended. Thank you Bambu Stay.

A bit away from the center, but some visitors like it that way. Staying here would give you a more authentic Siem Reap experience.

The hostel owner is really nice guy, he can answer a lot of questions about Siam Reap. I had a very great 3 nights here, by the way, their meals are so good! You have to try!
