When we told that we will stay in this hotel to the person who has rented us a motorbike she replied "AYANA KANDARA??? WOW!!!!! SO EXPENSIVE!! I also have a gusthouse..". Of course her guesthouse was not comparable with Ayana Kandara: the location is magic, the staff (even if cannot speak english) is really hospitable, the room is nice. I think this hotel has one of the most beautiful location of the world and for this reason i gave it 5 starts. The room is clean, the shower is separeted from the WC, the equipment simply perfect. It is a sin that the hotel doesn't have a restaurant because it is not near to the city.

An absolute treat to discover this place. Very modern, simple but packs a punch. Perched above a ridge overlooking the mountains and hills in Mondulkiri, it's setting is as gorgeous as it gets. Perfect sunrise views, the garden is well maintained, rooms a bit spartan but works just beautifully for all your needs. Food is ok, but service is fantastic. The team was warm and made us feel welcome even without prior reservations. My wife really loved it as well. Can't wait to be back!

A very nice setting. Rooms with stale air for $40 a night. The guy at the reception made us feel not welcome, was not helpful at all.

A pool in the middle of nowhere, looking at the hills in Mondulkiri. This place is clean and modern. You can relax by just looking at the hill and listening to the wind.
