From the moment we were picked up Mr Chen our tour guide was warm and courteous. He was there waiting along with our driver at the agreed pickup up time of 4:30 am. He took us to buy our Park Entry ticket and knew exactly which queue to stand in to expedite the purchase. We then drove to a special viewing point that he knows and he kindly helped assist my wife with the bigger steps (and throughout the tour).

During our tour of Angkor Wat he provided deep knowledge of the history of the temples. He took brilliant photos using our camera from all the best angles. He shared insight into religious teachings which my wife as a religious teacher welcomed sharing about his life as a Buddhist monk before becoming a tour guide.

We returned for our midday break and were picked up again at the agreed time. We were offered iced water and told it was available whenever we wanted. Again Chen shared his knowledge and took us around another set of temples and found a great viewpoint for the sunset!

We both felt that it was an honour to have met Chen as a person and for him to have shared his knowledge and experience with us.

Thanks to the tour offered by Angkor Special Tours, we had an excellent visit of Angkor Wat and several other temples near Siem Reap. The tour guide, Mr. Chen is the most knowledgable and also a very pleasant person to be around. We learned a lot about the history and about the attractions. If we were to travel again, I will surely use the same tour company. They also provided cold water frequently to keep us hydrated during the trip. The very best experience overall! Thank you.

Pin is the most extraordinary of Tour Guides. His knowledge, his command of the English language and flexibility to tailor-make all his tours to suit you.
We hired Pin for 2 full days. There was two of us, plus our primary school aged daughter. Towards the end of our second day, Pin could see that our daughter was templed-out..so Pin suggested the Butterfly Farm. OMG! Stunning, with butterflies that were breathtakingly beautiful and happily landed on you. It was a perfectly relaxed end to a truly memorable 2 day tour.
Pin has a driver that ensures you arrive at the entrance to the temples and has an endless supply of ice cold water AND face cloths scented with lemongrass. Exactly what you need in the heat and humidity of Siem Reap.
I have kept in contact with Pin, and only this morning, we have arranged for further members of our family to tour with Pin next week. Those members already being in Cambodia.
Pin is simply the best and should be booked as soon you book your flights!

Would definitely recommend, as this was the best tour I have ever experienced. The tour guide (Pin Vannak) was friendly and informative, and he made me and my family feel comfortable and safe during our tour. Cambodia is a beautiful country, and I look forward to visiting again :)

I had a wonderful time in Cambodia thanks to my excellent tour guide. Pal Chen is professional, knowledgeable and always on time. He created a custom itinerary to meet our every needs and was so kind and flexible when we needed to change our schedule. Pal has a good command of English and was so knowledgeable about every place we visited. He was warm and kind and had such a pleasant attitude. “Angkor Special Tours -- Do it! It's the best!”

Wonderful - HIGHLY recommended! We spent two days in Siem Reap with Vannak, and he was fantastic. He is extremely friendly, thoughtful, and very knowledgable, and made for a truly great experience. He customized our tour depending on our interest, energy, and timing, and we were able to see absolutely everything we hoped to see, and at our own pace. He knows where to go to avoid crowds, take the best pics, etc.

While touring the temples, it was very clear that not all guides are created equal - we were thrilled to have Vannak! If you're in Siem Reap, go with Vannak - you'll be glad that you did!
