One of the best national resorts in Kenya. It is by no means cheap to visit, but if you crave to relieve from drudgery, and deem that you have overlooked a lot in your life, this park is the ultimate remedy to receive a tide of fresh emotions. I am saying solemnly that this natural reserve is one of the best in the world; moreover, I have uncanny shrewdness that everyone ought to experience it even if you must pay dearly to do it.
More historic of the two Tsavos. Less wildlife spotting due to the bush compared to Tsavo east but equally exciting with the shetani lava, mzima springs etc.
Has to be one of the best parks in the country. Cpt. Ken, Senior Warden there deserves a HSC. Great, supportive and thoughtful guy. The staff there are also great. I worked with them on a conservation project at Ngulia, which was adopted and is still being used there. The Boys, they were quite amazing and supportive there. I generally enjoyed the long walks and interacting wit them.
Tranquil place, fun n adventure in the game drives
The best time to visit the park is either early morning or late evening. The game drive is refreshing and relaxing. Mzima Springs and Shetani lava flow is must go Amazing places.

Its an awesome national park and has a lot of wild animals
One of Kenya's better parks. It's a good half to three-quarters day drive from Nairobi. Lots warmer than Nairobi
Just like its sister the Tsavo East. Marvelous and offers sort of more animal varieties
The beauty of this park is amazing. In the rainy season its so plush with green and the opposite during the dry season. Seeing how the wildlife cope during the different seasons is just very interesting
