We booked to stay in this safari lodge for our honeymood, but unfortunately I was unwell and we had to cancel. The hotel after several months is still unable to process refund, as we paid in advance. They keep saying they are processing the refund, but have not done so.

I would highly advise on staying away from this lodge as a result of this experience.

I spent two nights and 3 days at Olare Mara with my family and my experience was second to none. The food was lovely and their all-inclusive package did not disappoint in terms of a wide drink selection.

The highlight for me was how friendly the hosts were right from Camp Manager who not only kept tabs with us as we drove to the camp through the jungle late in the evening but also sent out a driver to meet us halfway. Parking space was arranged for our tired car as and we proceeded to their camp in their jeep! This was just pure customer care at its best!

I loved the fact that the waiters were always willing to prepare meals based on our preferences especially since my 5-year-old son was picky at times.

No need to talk about the facilities……. they were lovely, clean and extremely well maintained.

The only problem was the poor state of the 90Km road. It is terrible. I would recommend flying rather than going by road.

I loved their huge bedrooms. Very spacious and well lit. The service was remarkable. Food was very tasty and enjoyed their selection of drinks. Gamedrives are a must to see the wild animals. Carry your camera with you as you do not want to miss anything. Be sure to watch the sunset. Masai Mara has one of the best in the world. You'll enjoy your time here. Quite affordable.
