The food sucks. The trout should be left in the water. Sad sad food. On a bright note I got peed on by one of the monkeys from up the trees, that was a highlight of my visit.

The restaurant is on a mugumo tree which gives it a more outdoor feel other than the fact that it's very open. The place is just stunning and the view from above to the live trout swimming in the ponds below gets yo mind craving to move to the countryside 😄. The place has a very cultural and natural feel to it which easily calms you!

Best place for eating fresh water fish. Especially for those who like to see fish live and say bismillah. I never miss to come here whenever I come to nyeri. And they don't serve just fish, even steak, pizza, chicken, rice and many more. 👍👍👌. There is also a play ground for children. And the view is too good. The table are nicely made on wooden platforms which are all supported on trees. Colobus monkeys can be seen here. At close-up, on the trees. If you are interested you can also feed them. And the fish too

Absolutely amazing place. The food was great. Didn’t have to wait too long for it. Staff were very pleasant. But best of all was seeing all the wild monkeys in the trees and coming onto the tables.

The prices alshown on their website are different from the menu when you get there. The trout is great but is not worth $17.

Natural setting with great food. A little pricey but rash natural environment compensates fairly. I recommend anyday

A tree house restaurant serving trout from their own farm. We stopped here for lunch on our way back to Nairobi and were treated to not just a delicious fish dish (fish was excellent, the side dishes less so) but Joshua also invited us to join in feeding a family of Columbus monkeys. Good art/gift shop with prints and photographs by the owners of the restaurant.
