nice game reserve with Savannah herbitant welcome all.
This is an absolutely amazing getaway. The serenity, the food, it's all what one would want
My review regards camping. This is not the friendliest reserve for campers, all the campsites are classified 'special' and as such need to be booked in advance with a large booking fee. There is also an additional fee for security. As such it makes for campers to be in a big group to split these costs. None of the sites have any facilities and as such campers should be fully self sufficient. Otherwise a very beautiful park and a special piece of Northern Kenya.
Awesome. Relax at Sarova shaba and watch wildlife at the same time.
It's a relaxed place, full of potential, enjoyable and great things to remember.
Very nice place away from the city cool place to relax and have good time with family and great food they serve
The staff is beyond nice. The fact that one can take a dip in a pool and then watch crocodiles chilling in the sun on the other side of fence makes this place unique. Recomended for anybody visiting Samburu!
Main attraction: Crocodiles and the scenery. Interesting rock formations.
An awesome place to go if you want to go off the gridlovely air conditioned rooms-although no TVs but there's WiFi.Beautiful scenery with lots of Flora and Fauna. The menu is great, lots of variety to choose from.
Shana National Reserve is a community run project via the Isiolo county government. The guards at the gate can be a bit annoying. But overlook that, and the Reserve is full of splendor. Home to the Gravis Zebra (sp*), Crocodiles, Buffaloes and of course plenty of Lions. The scenery is out of this world. You are adviced though to carry a bottle of water with you as it gets hot.
Shaba is a nice place to be. I will return to enjoy the services and pristine environment where conservation is at it's best. Try Shaba this holiday. Long live Shaba
Great national reserve with a variety of wild animals and birds' species, It is well accessible with a 4wd vehicle because of the terrain.
Amazing views, quiet environment, nice pool, fantastic service, many elephants close to the hotel and a few more animals to see on the game drive especialy in the morning.
The only National Reserve where you will find the rare Williamson Lark and also home to the Late Joy Adamson.
It's a beautiful serene place to getaway from a busy life
A good place to visit..
Lovely place to be with family and friends. Humble environment
Amazing total serenity and very friendly staff 😍
Quiet, great food & relaxing ambience. Awesome getaway.
Animals too shy
Go to samburu instead. Shaba has no game.
Shaba has surprisingly good game and
wonderful birdlife, drawn by small permanent
springs in the south. There are regular
sightings of elephant and lion in Shaba and
you have a good chance of seeing Kenya's
'northern five'; oryx, reticulated giraffe,
gerenuk, Grevy's zebra and lesser kudu.
