Ever since I got in every one has been so friendly and helpful, receptionist was knowledgeable and didn’t hesitate to help. I have no words to express how beautiful the place is. Very clean kept very well i see people cleaning and keeping up with the beautiful nature it’s blessed with so many times in a day.food is superb couldn’t ask for more kitchen staff is amazing they need a great appreciation,so does the waiters.my room has always been kept up with.to sum up this will be my first pick to come whenever I come to Mombasa.can’t wait to come back. Thank you all for the service you provide it’s greatly appreciated.

I had the best experience staying there. The staff was quite professional and friendly. I was especially pleased by Juma, who received me at the reception and ensured I was okay throughout my stay. I loved the ambience and the food as well. The salad station was my favourite. I'll be sure to go back when I can.

The hotel gardens are a home to over 5 species of Lizards from common house ones to monitor lizards..in turn the help to keep pest and insects under control.
Kids play area✔️
Soft carpet on the play area with various quality playing items for kids.
Taxi services ✔️
Branded Taxi are available in the hotel with affordable rates.
The Taxi are clean,AC,and the drivers neat with branded name tags .
Birds✔️
Many bird species often visit the hotel,
From local kind to peacocks are often seen.
Beach life✔️
Jet skiing and Coral visits services are available.

My top 5 comments are:
▪︎The staff at Sarova Whitesands is incredible with customer service and satisfaction.
(Checked in way earlier than check in time at 2pm, and they were kind enough to provide a holding room for us to use. We further had problems checking into our initial allocated room - which was pool facing. They apologized and upgraded us to a sea facing room at no extra charge - this pushed my rating⭐! Definitely)
▪︎The food is amazing. They have incredible variety with changing themes every night for the dinner buffet😋
▪︎VARIETY of seating and relaxation spaces!
From pools, to the gardens and the different restaurants.
▪︎ Rooms are clean, particularly love the colour touch. I stayed in a room with no natural ventilation for the Wash closet that was a bit of a bummerbut oh well, Ac and the artificial ventilation sufficed.
▪︎Variety of activities tooparticularly loved the Animation team and the energy they infuse with the games and dances over tea time and later in the nights.
▪︎Beautiful landscaped spaces!
My take aways:
▪︎I hope they can increase number of cleaners for the rooms. I saw our cleaner every day working through all the rooms on our floor. I wish the rooms could be cleaned a little earlier in the day so it wouldn't take till afternoon to have your room cleaned.
▪︎Also, there's a lady In charge of landscaping/gardening, she was berating and admonishing the gardeners in front of guests. That definitely felt off. I felt those are issues to be handled in house and possibly privately at a staff meeting perhaps?response / report this review -

Sarova is a little paradise.I loved the customer care,they are polite,friendly and helpful.
The food was lovely,it was a buffet and accommodating even to vegetarians.
I enjoyed swimming and sipping my drink at the bar all at once,the walks by the beach.
Finally,i always appreciate a tidy room.The bathroom was very tidy and it had a bath tub,heavenly right?response / report this review -

I expected better service at the hotel, 1.when one has booked a double room, they only put items for only one person/ my balcony door was not lockable. 2. On the food , for their class and cost I expected at least one complementary cold drink per meal, during dinner only hot drinks were available and considering it's coast and hot that need to be reviewed. Same as 4 O'clock. An advise to any future client, you really have to specify even the small details of your preferences especially for the room if you are a couple.

The ambience and beach view is excellent. The facilities are top quality with spacious rooms. The food is just basic buffet with no real creative touch. Security staff are friendly with a good customer experience touch. Parking may be a challenge on some days

An extra ordinary place. Incredible views, world class rooms, mouth-watering dishes. The gym is excellent and the swimming pool is very clean. The customer care service is prompt with friendly staff.
