Greatly enjoying my stay. Service is excellent. Love the textile art in the hallways. Breakfast is copious and varied. But the best thing about the hotel is definitely the service.

One final random note: good amount of chargers and thoughtful lighting in the rooms.

Highly recommend this hotel for central Nairobi. Safe and secure and outstanding staff service. Nothing was too much trouble. Will be back for sure.

Nice hotel , very clean. However need to improve empathy against guests. Yesterday woke up early with big banging sounds. Called the reception, they sent someone over to check. The guy came over heard the sound and said I don't hear anything first. So I kept him waiting second time his eyes rolled up when he heard the sound could not deny. But he said it is coming from next door etc. Let me check . This continues for an 15 minutes and I cannot bear the sound anymore. Went out of the room checking where the sound is coming finally found out there is a gym upstairs and a guy throwing huge metal lifts to the floor. 5:30 in the morning!!! Called the reception they say sorry but this keeps going and never stops. Although they knew the sound was coming from gym, both reception and the engineering guy tried to hide it. So your choice for this hotel now!!!

Lovely hotel- the rooms are stylish and bed really comfortable. The food is great, colorful, vibrant and fresh at all the restaurants. The cocktail and drinks menus are creative and delicious. Sitting out by the pool bar on the 7th floor is super relaxing or you can hit the gym!I would highly recommend this place. Too bad the spa was closed during my stay though- I would have liked to try it out.

My birthday surprise party was pretty exceptional stayed for almost a week. The service, food everything welcoming and amazing. Although there was a slight issue with the pool staff thinking that I lied about extra people swimming but the manager was able to resolve this as we booked 5 rooms. Thank you

Very nice hotel with a good service, nice facilities, clean and tidy rooms and a cool top floor pool and bar area. However my dining experience was really average. With better food options and quality it would be a 5 star from me.

If you have been to Nairobi you know the sort of thing. Delightful pool in a rooftop bar. Great food but pricey for the area. Spa looks amazing though I didn't try it.

I stayed here 4 nights and it's am excellent hotel in Nairobi, though it's an expensive hotel but still it offers value for money. The staff was very helpful. it’s a 5-star hotel in the city centre and very convenient to shopping and restaurants. After my stay here, I can undoubtedly say that it’s a gem in Nairobi with superb services. Worth to mention, hotel bed was very comfortable.

I have stayed at Sankara at least 5 times over the past 3-4 years. (This trip I did not stay there so my review is based on the dinner we had their).
In all my trips, I have found the staff to be friendly eager to assist.
Accommodation was always very pleasant and the food very satisfying. A good stay every time.

The rooms are clean, well furnished and an oh-so comfy bed. The bathroom is grand too.

Make sure you check out Sarabi- the rooftop bar and pool area, always has great events especially on Friday - Sunday.
Also turn up for brunch on Sundays. 4500/- P.P, bottomless booze (select). Come hungry and thirsty

Brilliant Christmas buffet and unusually good band ( they are usually too loud and don't usually play the things you like). Didn't enjoy the sushi I would have preferred to salmon but they have a brilliant ice cream parlour in the corner which is easily missed. The staff were professional, friendly, helpful, happy and all round perfect.

Had an amazing lunch. The buffet was killer. But would have loved to have just a bit more vegeterian main dishes. And not have me make a main dish out of the grilled side veg. Other than that the food was amazing.

Chic hotel nestled in the popular and bustling westlands area. You'll particularly enjoy the restaurant and bars especially the rooftop pool bar. Ambiance is great. Great for dates and family dinner.Very pricy and I guess it has the costliest parking fees in Nairobi.

The rooms are quite spacious with very comfortable beds. Work on the WIFI though.

Great ambience. Impeccable food at artisan. Great service. Friendliest waiters ever. Had a family dinner here and because the waiter got the order wrong the manager came and personally apologised to us and we got dessert on the house! The prices were also not exaggerated and the menu had a greater variety than restaurants in other hotels.
The hotel is sooo beautiful. I loved it. Definitely five stars!

The Sankara is a beautiful and luxurious hotel in Westlands Nairobi. The rooms are neat, clean, well-equipped and offer all the comfort and amenities you'll need for a business trip. Rooms come with complimentary water, a coffee and tea station, W-Fi and a TV. Breakfasts (typical buffet-style hotel breakfast) are serve din a tastefully-decorated dining area with a wonderful outdoor area. It is on the expensive side to stay and eat here, but if you have money to burn, or you're looking for some ultimate luxury in the hear of one of Africa's most vibrant cities, this is the place to stay.

Amazing ambience, good service and a very helpful staff. Really liked the way they treated me. The only downside was a listed choice of vegetarian food in the restaurant. But there are good restaurants nearby to fill that gap. It's definitely on the higher end of the price range owing to the upscale environment. Definitely recommend this place.
