I enjoyed the wide range of food. Portions are large, the palak paneer to die for and the naan was out of this world. The waiters are attentive except when it's time to close. The restaurant opens for lunch and dinner only. Monday to Thursday, there's plenty of room so you do not need to make a reservation. Friday to Sunday, it's advisable to make a reservation because it's pretty busy.

The managers are not the friendliest, though the waiters try their best, but the food here is amazing especially the biryani (chicken or lamb). You can order takeaway as well and in 20 minutes it's ready. Great food but lousy service. Just check your change before you leave as they have a system of rounding up the totala bit dishonest, I think.

I loved Open House and will definitely be back! I was a bit sceptical at first glance. But the Indian food served is well prepared and full of flavour. Food is amazing! Definitely worth it

Directions to the place is totally poor. I spent up-to 10 minutes trying to get to the place. It's a nightmare for the drivers. That's the only reason I didn't give a 5 star. everything else is perfect.

Not worth it! Tasty food (try the garlic and cheese naan, ginger chicken masala) but very expensive for what you get and terrible service. Our server was hovering over us constantly and could not recommend a single thing - as if she barely knew the menu. For the price you’re paying (don’t forget the 16% tax they sneakily add at the end) you’re better getting take away from Diamond Place and picking up a nice bottle of wine.

Biggest rip-off for take-away food!

This is my issueThey charge 50/- to put your food in a woven bag (when everyone else charges 10/-). They charge 70/- to put your food in two flimsy containers. And they apply the 2% levy and 16% VAT to everything after their prices. So that cheap bag and cheap container is actually 142/-. And shockingly, they charge 400/- to deliver from Westlands to Lavington. Total add-on charges before touching the food, 542/-.

So my one main dish, one starter and one plain nan bread came to 2750/-.

I will never order from these guys again.

This is the best place to take most delicious indian food ! We have been coming to Open House for 7 years and every visit is a pleasure with super food and high degree of hospitality which make you very comfortable ! I have live in India and this place could be called little India :)
