A nostalgic place. The railway museum is a little known place in the heart of the city centre. It is filled with pictures and items that tells us about the history of East African rail and water transport. Definitely a place to visit again.

Interesting and beautiful old trains from the iconic railway. Also be sure to visit the art studio and check out the great graffiti art along the wall there.

The amount of history here and the state of well kept locomotives is impressive. Anyone who wants and insight to early colonial Kenya should visit.

This is truly a hidden gem. Getting there was quite easy and you wouldn't believe you're in the CBD. There are no staff on site really except at the ticket office but everything is self explanatory. We went with two children (3 & 9) and it was fun for all. I believe that KR could do more with the museum to generate more interest. The old coaches are clean and well maintained as well

This is the cutest museum I have seen to date. There are many exhibits here, albeit unorganized, yet it is very informative. The railway has an interesting history filled with many famous characters. Although the museum is a must see, the staff is terrible and you’re made to feel like your inconveniencing then by being there. I would also recommend the walk from the museum back to downtown. The roadway is lined with murals that are worth stopping to get a proper look at.

The museum is a fun place to take kids for a short outing. You won't be able to spend a lot of time there, but there are plenty of trains to climb on. The indoor part of the museum is more interesting for adults, as there are a lot of breakable items for small children. The museum altogether is not something you will visit more than once, but it's worth a visit since the price is really affordable.

Amazing place the history in that place is epic and you can pretty much go everywhere ontop of the trains wherever you want the freedom and the explanation as you tour the 0lace is one of a kind

Its a nice place to do Photography. I liked the train station scene and the sunset view. We also have an archive of Photographs taken long ago that give a story of how railway in Kenya began and its growth.

Great place to take our Grandson. Lots for him to see and do; he loved climbing on the trains and carriages. And some interesting history for us. The staff were really friendly and helpful so all in all a good day.

It has an art gallery. Art lovers, there's some pawn for you here. It has a miniature railway station and trains for kids to play. Then finally it has a museum. Also a great location for outdoor photography

A hidden gem in Nairobi, this is one of the best places to have a photography shoot. Remember to carry along some cool drinks.
