Fantastic place , with wonderful ambiance - love the view and the food is superbdefinable worth it
Mombasa Club is probably the oldest members club in Kenya and was founded by the British Colonial occupiers. It has certainly seen better days but can still hold it's own. I love the location with the beautiful views over the old Dhow harbour and their food is always good, especially the sea food.
What is exceptional about Mombasa Club however, is the very good service you get from its excellent personnel who are always keen to serve and do it well. Very helpful people. Very good food.
Well refurbished rooms. Good responsiveness from the staff. However consider fulfilling requests for early breakfasts for those who have to leave earlier than the scheduled breakfast times.
I go there everyday to swim early morning in the sea to cross the channel between fort Jesus and English Point marina. Mombasa club is a members club with great views of the channel and with a serene and peaceful ambiance. They also serve good seafood and have a salt water pool
A place to cool 😎 down stress
Magnificient views of North Mombasa coast and arriving ships. It neighbors Fort Jesus.
A quaint establishment set on the shores of the Indian Ocean near the famous Fort Jesus. It is a private members club but can give temporary membership to non members subject to their rules. If you are reciprocating from another club admission is free and you get member rated for their rooms. The rooms on the second floor have a beautiful view of the ocean
The rooms and hotel have an old feel but the location is pretty awesome. Fort Jesus next door and the city centre a walking distance away.
Amazing pizza, and the 'club special' drink is to die for. The fish was well-cooked with spectacular tartar sauce to go with it. Oh, and the view is breathtaking
Good for a breakfast stop when in Mombasa for business. Has an old feel of established clubs. Spectacular views across the creek. Service could be better, however.
Historic rustic members only club. You are only welcomed if invited by a member. Good sitting (no mobile phone allowed) great food. Enjoy the view of the Sea
Excellent view of the Indian ocean to go with the delicious food.
Try the catch of the day. Awesome
If you have kids under 5yrs then the dining room will be out of boundsdont despair as the pool dining offer excellent viewsa tad windy but the catch of the day more than makes up for it. Fort Jesus is just next door..
Feels like James Bond would've come here once upon a time but they decided not to maintain anything for 20 years after that. Great for the price you pay though
