Mau forest is cool and ever green because of trees, let us plant trees to make our country Kenya green and bring a lot of rain.everyone should plant two or more trees.

It is a highland, water tower with heavy rainfall and poor road network..four- wheel drive can do better.the place has been largely cleared to pave way for cultivation..

Mau forests is more likely to disappear in less than fifteen years to come. At the moment there is very high and very vigorous number of people trying to settle in this area of concern.
With this settlement I can clearly see vigorous human activities clearing vastly the virgin land cutting down tree with government permission. There is relatively huge numbers of people endulging in business of timber, staks, and at my surprise today it's too rare to spot an indigenous trees, what a blander.
There is drastic climatic changes as compared to past year where rains return on April as witnessed last year, and this year already we are approaching March still no signs of rain. Boreholes have dried only few Wells still supply as with water.

It's great to be out of the city where the congestion of people is high also pollution of the air by vehicles and most of all the jam. The vegetation is beautiful, fresh air. Beautiful forests and fresh water. Cool air.

One of the coldest places I have been to. The wind is so strong in this place, it ca easily blow away 5kg load. They also have good rates for road side shopping. Not to forget the merino sheep, they are the perfect lawn mowers

The forest is very indigenous dating back to many years, animals like elephants, baboons, velvet monkeys, leopards and numerous kind of birds are found in this forest, permanent rivers flowing out of the forest makes the place awesome.
Indigenous trees occupy the larger percentage of the forest making it's scenery exceptional and captivating
