A nice place to be especially on Friday evening for meals and drink. A live band playing an assortment of danceable music from the past and current. It is quite packed on Friday evening and you require a little bit of patience on the service.
The food is a variety of grilled and cooked ranging from beef, goat, chicken etc. The environment is neat and secure. A good swimming pool is available and the rooms are well maintained.
A great place to watch sport of your choice as more than a dozen of TV sets are on display everywhere you look including projectors.

A nice place to be at. The rooms are good and they serve an amazing breakfast. The services are good though small problems such as the air conditioner refusing to function can be encountered as they have their room cards used for powering the room.It can be annoying but everything else is good.

Starting from the gate entrance, you see lovely cultural artifacts , the theme just puts a smile on your face .If there's one thing that Kahama got right is their culture setting, on to the reception, the reception area has a lounge , so if the journey to Kahama hotel got you worked up , feel free to take a nap on the nice couches even before you see the receptionist 😂😂😂 and I'm serious. They have up to pur receptionist's who look good , I had to add that .this place is down for Africa , everything is African , the decorations ,the staff attires, the food , the food ,the food and the food . I had to insist on this since it's a legit place , the food is awesome ,the rooms are so fresh , room service is on point

I would have given a 5-star was it not for complacent management of the place. The rooms didn't have hot water, something about spoilt pump, the receptionist were quite casual about it with no indication when to it will be fixed. Other than that, its a great place, with a club/bar and a walking distance to the beach.

Surprisingly beautiful with affordable rates and good service. The food is prepared well and can be enjoyed over the view of a family of monkeys that frequent the place :)

Apart from the reception staff who are very friendly, the bedsheets are torn, the place is too noisy at night because of the club, be careful to ask for receipts in the club coz you end up paying what is not showing in the receiptseither you are stealing or the waitress is stealing. God forbid it's breakfast time and you have forgotten your room number.if you say your name and tell the kitchen staff to confirm from reception, they keep asking rudely to embarrass you. Mixed up laundry bills, room drinks that you never took suspiciously appear in your tab and the girls run after you like you are some thief. I was not happy with the place and I won't be going back there anytime soon.

Very Disappointing. Food takes an hour to prepare only to be served RAW. Their Goat meat sucked! No effort in getting good tomatoes for Kachumbari. No efforts of apologizing by waiters. Good for watching Tv Alone.
