This is one of the few if not the only surviving/existing agricultural college in the entire republic. I wouldn't vouch for its upgrading to a university because it would be more theoretical/academic than professional/technical. The latter is what Agricultural officers need, more of practical and less of theories, and that is what is offered here. Excellent, excellent, excellent college I should say.

A learning institution where focus people are found,cool play ground, dairy and forestry departments soo are interesting. F T C is also allocated at the left side of the college. Food and accommodation available for more than 50 trainees

Useful institution for middle level agricultural skills training. Bukura Agricultural Technology Development Center (ATDC) is in the neighborhood and promotes value addition technologies for use by small scale farmers and entrepreneurs . The College students are always welcome to learn some of the technologies.

This institution is not actually called Bukura Agricultural Research Institute. The main facility is called Bukura Agricultural College. There is a smaller centre now called Bukura Agricultural Training Centre(ATC),although it is older and was for along time known as Bukura Farmers Training Centre(FTC).
