I don't like Kakamega Golf Hotel if not just for their beautifully done lawns. I've been there several though. I have never enjoyed the food - everything is either undercooked or overcooked. Don't even try their pork chops 😏. Their rooms are quite spacious, but not the best you can find. It's put of town. Quite tranquil. But the beautiful lawns will always drag me there againand again

Very friendly staff. The hotel needs refurbishment to modern facilities. They should get rid of the old bathtubs,not so hygienic.
And yes ,food portion even for buffet is a joke especially if you are a big group.

Easily accessible from town center. By the town standards the hotel is one of the best in kakamega town. Beautiful lawn for kids to play.

The hotel is set in a very serene and relaxed environment neighbouring the ever green Kakamega golf course. I enjoyed my meal and the service was pleasant.

I was here for business. It is a nice facility, with friendly staff and great sunset views. There is no air conditioner in the bedrooms. Some windows have screens, but most do not have a sceeen. You will want to use the bed nets due to bugs and lizards. My bathroom did not have a shower head on the wall so had to hold it will showering.

Service is way, way far below average. No difference from a roadside kiosk. Either you have few waiters or they disappear when needed. Any supervisor around? Great work from the pool attendant.
