Good restaurant with variety of food to choose from and a decent choice of cold beverages can be found here. Ambiance is lively and staff is cooperative. Seats can be made for comfortable and should add some more local dishes including sea food!!

Classic & Old Time Mombasa Cafe with great Food & Coffee. Lively & Fresh vibez with polite & friendly staff. Good Muzik & a great Place to chillout & cool off from the Heat outside. Great choices on the menu with plenty of good eats & a separate Pizza menu. Long last of Dessert options & also bakery choices. Must try their milkshake & ice cream smoothies as a refresher from the Heat outside.

I give Blue room 3 stars because there are days i love it, and there are days i cant believe i ate there. Very inconsistent food but when they get it right its one of the best places to eat. I would recommend anyone to try them out for lunch and reconsider dinner.

Went for lunch to celebrate my daughter's birthday and we really enjoyed ourselves. The food and ice cream was sumptuous. To top it up, they sung to her.

Blue Room is one of those "have to visit places in Mombasa". Their Tea is exceptional and has not changed as far as i know. Used to visit this place in the Nineties, and still do whenever at the Coast. Food is generally good. Lots of snacks available like Pies, Samosas, Doughnuts etc. Main dishes also available. It's conveniently located on Haile Selassie Road in the Heart of the Coastal City. Having opened it's doors in 1952 makes this place Historic! There's a Cyber Cafe inside for those who want to browse, scan or photocopy documents.

Ice cream is good. However, I was expecting better food with regards to the price. The price of the chicken burger + chips and a coke kes 870. Which is reasonable.

I walked in and ordered french fries and deep fried chicken. The salad was bitter, the chicken tasty. The french fries were just bland. Service was slow and I had to ask for it to be expedited. Oh and this is despite their prices being on the higher side. Basically - no value for money.

Lively and buzzing coffee spot. Great for lunch and dinner too. The ice creams, masala chicken burgers, snacks and milkshakes are all delicious. I come here often. You have to try Blue Room at least once if you're visiting Mombasa!
